Yoona is actually already an actress prior to this MVs. She already a minor role a month after her debut with Girls Generation (September 2007 with Two Outs in Ninth Inning). While SNSD were still 9 members, there were plenty of times when they performed as 8 or even 7 for various reasons. Tiffany slipped on some stairs after a performance and had her leg in a cast for a while ( but showed up for a stage performance of...I forget what right now, but she sat and sang her part while the others danced and sang theirs. Hyoyeon was in a car accident, cracked her tailbone I think, though not sure if she missed any performances. Yoona missed some performances because of scheduling conflicts with her acting. The craziest incident was when a "Saesang' tried to ABDUCT Taeyeon ON STAGE, WHILE THEY WERE PERFORMING LIVE !!! A stage manager and Sunny 'rescued' her.

I really enjoyed this reaction and I’m excited to watch you learn more about Girls’ Generation! For performances to react to with live vocals and dancing I recommend any of their performances on Yu Huiyeol’s Sketchbook (유희열의 스케치북). They have been on that show many times throughout the years and the audio mixing is always really voice forward. SNSD are called "Legendary" for a reason...actually A COUPLE OF HUNDRED REASONS. Yoona started acting (in a K-Drama) BEFORE she debuted with SNSD. She's starred in several drama series ( while also doing SNSD concerts, music show performances etc.) and in hit films such as Exit, Confidential Assignment and Miracle. She was also in a Chinese historical drama series, 'The King Loves". Sooyoung and Yuri also began acting before SNSD's debut. Sooyoung has played comedic and serious roles in several dramas ( So I Married and Anti-Fan, Tell me What You Saw...a very cool thriller mystery series) and had a comedic supporting role in the movie Mrs and Miss Cops'...great fun. She just finished her first stage acting role "the Wife". She's also a lyricist for several of SNSD's songs. Yuri's most recent acting role was the female lead in 'Bossam' ( a Korean historical drama series...very good). Seohyun's TV acting career has been more recent ( Love and Leashes is recent, she learns to become a dominatrix!) , but she's also starred in the the musicals "ABBA" and "Gone With the Wind" Sunny has performed in the musicals "Singing In the Rain" and Catch Me If YOu Can, and another one I can't remember. Sunny is also known as "The Variety Queen' and she's also been a radio DJ for a couple of years ( Sunny's FM Date). She's the only member to NOT have released any solo work, though she's done some collaborations) Hyoyeon was in Dancing with the Stars, several other dance programs, and she's a club DJ ( she just finished a North American tour in that capacity). Taeyeon was lead in the musical 'Midnight Sun' in 2010. She was also a radio DJ 2008--2009, and of course she has an epic solo career. Tiffany was the lead in the musical 'Fame' in 2013, and most recently in 'Chicago' as Roxie Heart' ( her getting the role required approval from the New York production). She also has her solo career, writing her own songs and toured the US and Asia as a soloist. She composed 'Villain', with Sooyoung as lyricist, on the Forever 1 album. . Taeyeon, Tiffany and Seohyun also performed and had a couple of albums as TTS/TaeTiSeo from 2012-ish to 2016. TTS is the most commercially successful and artistically awarded sub-unit in all of K-pop. Jessica has her own solo singing/songwriting career in addition to her international fashion chain, Blanc and Eclare, and her restaurant. There's way more about SNSD than just the above...but this is long enough. They aren't famous JUST because they've been around for 15 years and have 7 full albums.
