It has been reported elsewhere that: 1- That nitrogen was being added to gas, nitrogen being much cheaper to produce, so meters run faster and give out less heat output. The orange flame seems to corroborate that possibility. 2- That according to national statistics the total amount of gas output was a third less than the amount of gas sold. Adding those two possibilities they would make the bills get extremely high.

I've nothing really to add to this. The anti-cheat of Genshin Impact on PC is a driver. If you know computers it means it executes at top level privledges(can do anything without restrictions, basically like giving admin, but on stereoids). A security researcher sometime ago found a flaw in it letting you read and write any process data. As for android/iOS, if you don't give the app permission to then the kernel stops the app from being able to read any data. Unless the app exploits a flaw in some part of the system(be it kernel or system API/libraries) then it can only gather data from your gameplay interactions. As long as you don't give it storage permissions, audio, video recordings. It's hard to prove(without reversing the app) that no video/audio data is transmitted once you give the app the permission to do so. (outside of higher data usage, unsecured transmission protocols etc.).

The same thing happened when Mexico Electric Federation switched to digital meters. Higher prices for using electricity during peak hours. (Better to wash clothes between midnight and 4am) Most people wanted their old meters back.

the gas burning orange is going to cause a lot of damage to things like boilers as well. Also any industry that relies on gas (eg. cooking, metal foundries) may not even be able to function properly. I wonder who is making money off this...

Seeing normal bills when the meter supposedly isn't being read isn't necessarily nefarious. Some utilities will just estimate based on prior usage or the average in the neighborhood, then adjust for actual usage by adding or subtracting from the next bill that's based on a real reading. San Diego used to do that with its water. In fact, my dad once discovered that our water meter had been buried for years and the city was billing us based on pure guesswork, rather than trying to find out where the meter went.

funny thing is i am in the us and the gas company wants to "upgrade the meter" so schedule an appointment. meanwhile i am like hell no over my charcoal burnt body. I already was forced into a electric meter "upgrade" that they then raised rates and added a bunch of weird fees after. if i could afford solar panels would have a flag with a middle finger next to it with illuminating spot lights so it can be seen 24/7

Fairly soon they are going to start charging exorbitant property taxes on the peoples' houses, cars, and all real property. Even though they can't own the land itself. And they'll charge a leasing fee for those long term property leases. Internet, smartphone, water, sewer, garbage, etc. are next. 😂

The gas company forgot that consumers have the right not to pay if they are being overcharged for something that they did not overconsume. Some consumers do keep past months bills just for record.

The gas meter is in cubic meter, no way the gas flow 3 to 4 cubic meters in mere seconds. The gas meter is obviously tempered.

For the same amount of burnt fuel, the volume used is much, much higher. This is caused by the introduction of non-burnable gas, such as nitrogen
