How a map is good to me is that it gives the feeling like a normal rocket racing map thats why blaze fortress is my favorite

I'm working on a pretty basic track rn but i keep getting validation errors and i can't figure out what I'm missing. Never used uefn before a couple days ago so I think I'm gonna have to spend a lot of time figuring it out.

People need to spend more time play testing and less time making things look pretty. They look so cool, but at the same time, I don’t find most actually fun to play

tbh i feel like the crossover between good map makers & high ranked RR players is quite small at the moment

@@DannyLotus If there isn't already, there really should be a discord where multiple creators and high ranked players could make RR maps together to actually create quality content

@@cr6050 there is a server called Rocket Racing Custom Tracks. It came out 3-ish days ago. Has about 80 members that are a mix of map-makers and speedrunners.

@nbnobody360 well the rainbow road ones are fun (minus the speedrun version). The Only Up one is fun for just kicks and giggles but I would only enjoy a race on it if it was ONLY 1 Lap. Not 3x worth. It took my not so experienced son 40 minutes to get to lap 3 lol.

So the most of dannys complains are a MASSIVE skill issue. tbh alot of these custom maps arent beginner friendly

@TheTrueZenix indeed. As rusty as he is right now he’s honestly in the 2000-3000 Unreal skill range. Now that’s just a guess because he hasn’t been around for a while and his rank was in the 5000 range. As of yesterday there is about is at least 8300 Unreal players right now. My 5th alt to Unreal 2 days ago was #8253 (my kids accts for the rims). Unreal rank WAS the goal. Now, it’s all about how close you can get to #1 or top 200 even. Danny and Lethamyr are now just a needle in a haystack of pretty good players.
