I purchased a 98 Lexus GS 400 V8 in July of 2019 with 207000 miles in almost mint condition here in Tampa for $2200. It's silver with gray leather interior no rips, rust or leaks and chrome rims. I had the maintenance done by my mechanic (timing belt kit) and replaced the front suspension, tires and struts. I have driven it to Atlanta and back to Tampa twice in the last three months and it just eat up the highway. It's so smooth and comfortable.

Like others have said. I would keep he Lexus. I’d put about $1,500 of maintenance into it (tune up, oil change, change transmission fluid, alignment & balancing, and a deep clean with headlight restore).

Sell your car to buyers out of state and let them know of any extra fees including delivery and taxes from their states. I think you can make good bank on that Lexus.

Own the same year gs350, great car,never had any major problems. almost 200k on mine. Good daily for sure. You might have a recall out for it for the fuel pipe, make sure to take care of it so it doesnt catch on fire. I couldnt even get registration till I took care of that recall

I’ve learned by reading through your comments that these cars are basically Toyotas and last up to 500k plus (yea I know At least I know now). I will be aiming for this car. It’ll be dope if they have it in stick shift but I doubt. I’ll get the engine rebuilt and then the transmission when I can. I would have bought this myself.

I do junk yard hunting a lot and most of the car front seat bottoms are interchangeable. They charge for half seat and around 40$. 13 year old car with 300K obviously long commute to work. Very clean.

My dad bought one off of copart, not as many miles but still. Car never let us down, no check engine lights or anything. It’s quick too for its size lmao

In January I bought a 2008 es 350 same color as yours with 185xxx miles. Only things so far I will have to fix is left passenger window switch on drivers side.& replace speaker cover on front passenger door panel. But it's usually just me in it so I'm in no hurry..Love it

You should keep it. I've seen these go over 500k miles original motor and transmission. That same motor in the Toyota Avalon 3.5 is bulletproof. They put it in allot of Toyota's and Lexus. Like the RX and ES. I used to have a 95 ls400 with over 440k miles original everything even AC and starter. Ran like a top. Mostly hwy miles

My 2006 ES330 has 230,000 miles and it drives absolutely Flawlessly and not only is everything in perfect mechanical working order, the condition is nearly brand new. Chrome rims still look not a day old, they glisten don’t insanely bright lol. It floats like a cloud, wafts down the highway at 90 so stately. Rear sunshade to keep those peeping toms out, heated cooled seats, voice controls and navigation, insanely good mark Levinson audio system, power adjusting Pedals! Automatic rain sensing wipers, I mean what more can you ask for ?????
