😆 typical dude ride out, "hey we forgot to bring that thing that was crucial to the purpose of this ride" other friend: "we'll figure it out" 😂 I love days like these

When I got mine in 2015 it was the same deal: rear break with no pads and also seized calliper. I went with a good mechanic to be sure there's no bigger issues on. Took the fairings off on the spot and checked the engine bay and oil and cooling... The problem was that the seller was asking too little money for the motorcycle, referring to the other Hayabusas (same year and milage) that were for sale from other sellers. That's a suspicious thing right there. But there was nothing wrongg with it except a few "design" superficial things that we later fixed investing a small amount of money. Have the motorcycle ever since and have no issues with it as long as I do proper service and maintenance. Rode it in Europe, Turkey and this seazon I hope to do a tour of the Balcans. It will serve you well if you take proper care of it.

I have a 2005 Busa with same issue on the ignition. Since it has 2 previous owners I purchased the full set of ignition switch, gas cap and seat lock. I'm in Puerto Rico and paid $5,300 for the bike with 13k miles. Mine also had 200/50/17 Shinko tires. I was told at a bike shop they stopped selling them due to complaints of slipping too much. Replaced the tires with 190-50-17 Dunlop SPORTMAX GPR-300, drive chain and front sprocket.

That sounds like a good deal you got 👍 and yes the tire change is a must lol thanks for your input brother!!

went to the dealer to buy a new 'busa but wound up buying the ZX14R that was next to it. with only a k&n air filter, delkevic exhaust and moore mafia tuned ecu she is awesome. dyno'd 198hp/118tq at the rear tire but i call it 200/120 (its close enough lol)

What comm setup are you guys using? Me and my friend have Cardos but that shit cuts out constantly. Like more than 20-30ft and it's over. You guys seem to have no issues with w/e you're doing.

Well you are correct!! We have had the same issues we also use cardo the pack talk bold series. So the way around it is to just use the bluetooth to make a phone call, that way we never drop off the comm. Nothing but problems with the cardo , wanted to try Sena to see if they are any better! Just been spending the extra money on other things :)

I wouldn’t care if the paint showed an irregularity pulling the sticker off or not the stickers gotta go. I had mine removed at the dealership before I even took delivery on my bike. They restuck them all on a sheet of paper along with all the other paperwork in an envelope

If the previous owner ran those pads to the metal. You'll need to replace that rear brake disc!! Previous owner is an idiot!
@321maxtorque4 ай бұрын
😂 you are correct and yes we got another rotor!!

@321maxtorque Braided metal brake lines also enhance the braking power of the rear brakes on these Busas, as we know, aren't there strong suit. Good luck moving forward with yours! 🤙
