Interventional radiology involves using medical imaging technology to treat and sometimes diagnose conditions. The primary difference between DR and IR is that Diagnostic radiology primarily deals with diagnosing disease, whereas interventional radiology primarily deals with treating disease.

Worked with a Interventional Radiology group at a top notch hospital. Gained my respect 💯. Often had to switch and reschedule the IR'S depending on the Operating Schedule. Patient's don't understand what goes on behind the scenes in getting their specialized IR into their surgical case.

Worked with a Radiology Group at a top hospital. Gained respect 💯 on their skills. Each had their subspecialty within. I often had to shuffle and reschedule the Intervention Radiologist depending on the Operating Schedule. Patients don't understand what actually goes into getting those doctors in on your case.

Hey doc, I had a question to ask. I m in my first year of bachelors of physiotherapy in india. I want to go to Harvard medical school. What would med schools favor more- 1. Undergrad from a US state uni(after taking transfer from india)? 2. Undergrad from india, but a masters(MMSc immunology for eg) from an Ivy like Harvard( provided I get in). If I choose transfer, I ll be limited to state unis cz of my course and fees. For masters, however, I can apply to ivies as well. *(In either case, I ll supplement my education with a post-bacc pre-med program as well)
