I remembered using Hu Tao and entered an AR 16 world. My coop partner trying to heal my Hu Tao was so wholesome but I told her "no no pls dont heal her. You're meant to play her with low hp 😅" Her mind was blown that day.

@@Caffeinated-Maus i recommend switching out Xiangling cus xiangling isn't going to do anything for hu tao. Fischl, Kaeya, Zhongli, or even any shield character is a better choice.

Hu Tao's cooking is great for maximum output on revival items. Their healing sucks anyways, so the extra 6% chance to double up on your eggs or steak etc. is a niche.

One thing that Jay forgot to mention(I think): the white tassle(a 3* weapon) is actually a very good weapon for Hu Tao. It has crit rate main stat, and passive that increases normal attacks(up to 45ish%). If your Hu Tao is C0, you won't be doing charge attacks too much, so the passive will be very useful. A lot of people always forgot about this weapon

Same, with a crit, under 50% hp, whilst in bennets ring, whilst doing melt, against the cryo flower, ive hit at most around 62k which is the most ive hit with a charcter in 1 hit

If you don't have ZL for shields, the next best option is Diona. Her Q heal isn't too much and you can always step out of it, she has decent cryo application, and she provides a pretty decent shield if you stack her up with HP.
