We have the option of summoning baron first that doesn't stop or bother the rest of the combos at all

ashuna + any other tenyi can force nib thanks to a light lock or if you draw longyuan they can just make baronne most SS players on ladder arent smart enough to do that though so nib is still pretty okay

There's yang zing, tenyi, and metaphys. But yang zing, swordsoul, and tenyi all are played in a kind of wyrm soup and metaphys just kind of sucks.

There needs to be at least one high performing deck that makes synchros as it’s main ED, probably the hardest/least consistent form of ED summoning (excluding default fusion which doesn’t really exist anymore) so unless they make it more consistent players should be rewarded with the strongest cards/synchros should typically be very good and very hard to summmon

@@Shadowx157 that’s kinda overflowing it. I played when zoos were full power, ss is now where near as oppressive. Full power zoos would probably give tear a run for its money in terms of best deck. Swordsoul is a pretty fair deck in the sense that it isn’t really oppressive. It does have some powerful tools, but you can usually play around them, at least after halq was banned (unless you’re playing a dogshit deck, then idk what to tell you). I play the deck on md, and usually people just need to contend with chixiao sinister sovereign/baronne pass with some staples like ash, imperm, or maxx c. Will admit though that Protos is 100% a problem card and probably the only super unfair thing the deck does. Most arch types are built around one, maybe two summoning mechanics, like fluffals and fusion, ss with synchro, tri brigade with link, lyr with xyz, etc.

It is annoying but during the Synchro/Xyz festival making Longyuan and passing didn't get me far.

If only yang zings didn't miss timing for basically everything but their own effects...

nope, that just means that if a spell/trap is already on the field and activates its effect, you can banish it.

Why would you ever do that?? It loses its graveyard effect if it’s not fusion summoned and unless you’re running more Albaz fusions in the extra deck you lose your non target banish.

@@ConnMann1999 at the time I made this comment, you could still use it's grave effect. And swordsoul doesn't exist anymore after the baronne ban which is why I quit yugioh
