Learn how to soak-stain raw canvas with acrylic paint, a technique introduced by Helen Frankenthaler in the 1950s using thinned-down paint to create abstract paintings. We’ll add a few new twists inspired by the 1960s tie-die era. Watch and create along with artist Beverly Todd.
Supplies: unprimed canvas (scraps or any size), Golden wetting agent, dishwasher rinse aid, water, acrylic flow paint , spray bottle with water, brushes.
