GIR and Dib have one of my favorite dynamics. Like they're on opposite sides but they're so friendly and nonchalant with each other, even more so in the comics

I highly appreciate Soapy Waffles for trying to make this episode a reality, kinda sad how it's 45% done and I wish it was fully finished.

Stuff like this is proof that Zim was never cut out to be an Invader. The Irken's purpose is to subvert, conquer and commence the Organic Sweep and then repeat the process over and over again forever for the over convenience of the Armada. The Irken relish how they have nothing that can realistically stand in their way. They embrace their obsessive hivemind culture with complete synchronicity Zim for some reason CANT do that he can't just do something to commence the Sweep even tho nothing can realistically stop him. He WANTS to be stopped. It's not enough Zim conquers Earth it's that Dib bends the knee on top of that. In Zim's mond one cannot exist without the other

this would probably have been the most normal ending in the show

I had the biggest smile on my face while watching ZIM and Dib insult each other while smiling and laughing and overall being happy while GIR is happy that he has his couch back❤ come to think of it... that's one most I've smiled today

Zim: Refers to Gir numerous times in front of Dib Dib, finally having direct interaction with Gir: "Zim's evil robot dog thingy" I swear, the only human to ever refer to Gir by name was Keef.

Ah yes. My favorite frenemy duo. They need each other to stay challenged and motivated. (Even Dib let go of himself and never left his room when he thought Zim disappeared in “enter the florpus”.) Yet they continue to fight and sabotage each other to no end. 😂 But for some reason, I feel like if they somehow became friends, they’d probably make an unstoppable team.

Dib and Zim can't live without each other. Zim without Dib will lose any confidence in his importance, because only Dib seriously assessed Zim - as an enemy who is capable of destroying the earth. And Zim is the only one who didn't call Dib truly crazy, since Zim knows that he is an alien and Dib isn't lying about it.This small connection with mutual recognition of each other as enemies and danger creates a strong bond between these guys, because they are the only ones in both of their lives who do this to each other. I love that part about them

A textbook codependent relationship haha. Zim is so incompetent that he needs the illusion that Dib is an obstacle in order to feel like it's at all possible for him to conquer earth.

You all think the other students think Zim and dib are just in a really intense game of humans and alien's and are really good friends.

No one: Zim: You are covered in LIIIES human dib! Dib: I didn’t say anything. Zim: CLEVER!

He might not be home much, but the way Dib’s dad treats him and Gaz kinda sorta makes up for that. The guy had his back turned when Dib came in, and still ‘detected’ he was unhappy; that’s some fatherly perception right there. And he isn’t shy about physical contact when given the opportunity/time. Hugs and casually lifting his children (by the neck/cranium) to sit on his knee is surprisingly...endearing for want of a better word. The Professor is a pretty cool dad, tries to give good advice at least.

Everyone is fangirling over the relationship between Dib and Zim in this episode but I was just awwing at the relationship between Dib and his dad how even for a moment he was legitimately proud of him. Yeah he was disappointed at the end, but he didn't downgrade or belittle his son, just greatly disappointed.

Let's just ignore the fact that The worst X-mas ever is the last episode, this deserved to be the last one.

I love Zim a dibs relationship in this episode, I don't ship them. But it's clear Zim neer dib because he needs a challenge, in my opinion I see them as frenimies. Friends but enemies.

I really like this episode, not only because the relationship between Dib and Zim as nemesis is shown, but also because we can see more about Dib and Gaz relationship, she is his sister after all and she knew that something was wrong. I've seen this topic other times, a hero without an enemy it's nothing and it's the same for the villain. Life becomes really bored without challenges. Frenemies power!!

"I'm going to liquefy your organs ^w^" That's one of the best lines I've ever heard in my life... But yes, these twoo really need each other, maybe that's why these series work so well, at least for me. The first think I usually seek in a series is a good character. However, this character needs to have an interesting relationship with another one, and that's what usually keeps me in a serie. Good thing Invader Zim is being continued by amazing fans and by the official comic.

I find the dynamic rivalry between these two to be very endearing. I mean, they're both their respective word's misfits, and rather than have these two be love interests in that typical "we come from the same sort of background so we must be together" trope, they are two fierce rivals. In a way, they're rivalry is a positive experience for the both of them. These kids have been laughed at their whole lives and been the laughing stock of their people in both cases. While Dib has never been taken seriously, or even listened to his whole life, Zim is considered an rogue Invader and has thus gone from a banished shortstack, to the empire's running joke. While Dib's father is never a really prominent figure in his life, save his recorded face on a moniter, Zim was raised by a wrought iron arm/machinery. They're both considered "freaks" and "weird kids."They're rivalry is so compelling because they find purpose in each other. Zim proves to Dib that he may not be wrong, in that there are beings beyond human conception, and that he's not crazy. Whereas, Dib gives Zim an opponent that takes him as a serious threat, and not someone who can be just dismissed (because although he speaks to the tallest as if he's their favorite, he actively blocks out any negative attention they might direct at him, and I think this may be a psychological reflex he developed). And yes, they are not a perfect Dynamic; they've thrown each other to the sharks on more than one occasion, but they provide each other the emotional compensation that the other is starved of. It's sweet in a way.

I like how the movie plays out, Dib finally saves the world from Zim, The Irken empire is finally gone thanks to pretty much Zim and his insane plan, Dib knows his family doesn't really hate him. and still loves him, just don't care much for his antics. But in the end, Zim is still making up crazy plans, and Dib will do...……..something....to stop him...……..somehow....
