Ross Reinman grew up in a Jewish home with a Jewish Dad and a Sicilian Mom. His Jewish Dad, a believer in Jesus, shared the gospel with Ross but Ross didn't want Jesus. A night in San Francisco would change the course of his life transforming him from a party guy to a pastor. Ross also engages in the topic of Jewish lineage tracing Jewish heritage back to the Hebrew Scriptures where being a Jew came through the paternal line, or line of the father.
Ross Reinman is a biblical scholar, Ph.D., and the head pastor of Calvary Chapel The Rock Church in Santa Rosa California.

I fell into drugs really bad due to depression and being raised in a disfunctional family. At the age of 35 I ended up losing everything and everyone around me and landed in prison. My 1st day there I cried out to God "How am I going to do this???" Immediately i was blinded and couldnt see anything it was so bright. Then I felt a sense peace thru a calm and realxing feeling. Then I heard a voice I only knew to be Jesus Christ who answered and simply said "with me." And it was over. I went to Bible study and services 3 times a week..Through Gods word he reshaped and remolded me into a new creature in Christ. Its been 10 years last month since I was released. Not one days goes by that I dont thank him for his grace and mercy. I pray all people will seek God and find Jesus. Jesus Christ is truly our Shepherd, I was lost but now I am found. Thank you father! ❤🕊️🙏✝️🐏🐑

My parents and sister are Christian but they put me in a catholic school. Growing up im so confused with my faith. I used to hate the ways my parents do for their religion. I remember telling myself that I will never be Christian coz i feel like it took my family away from me because I love doing worldly things. But God moved into my life and now I’m baptised and surrendered my life to Jesus. 🙏🏻

All that aside, unless your faith is in the Person and Work of Jesus Christ alone - and not at all in your water baptism which was a Jewish cleansing ritual and there are no Jews today (Colossians 3:11 KJV) or any other physical thing, you are not yet saved. Let God know that you have accepted his gift of eternal life in Ephesians 2:8&9 KJV.

A preacher of the church looks out into the mortal world he believes God created and then judges it because he is ignorant of his own Truth of Being, thereby denying the Omnipresence of the Infinite, Perfect Spirit of God.... A Priest of God knows the Infinite, Perfect Spirit of God is the Only Presence, the Only Life. Therefore, he knows where everything Mortal and Finite Appears to be, only the Infinite, Perfect, Omnipresent Life of God is. He knows that when he is not attuned to Divine Consciousness(Eternal Life, Immortality, Truth, God), by default, he is attuned to Mortal Consciousness(karmic death, mortality, form, fear, judgment, evil, etc). He knows that every communication Unfolding from God within is to encourage the Spirit/Soul die to the False Sense of Mortal Self, as the Purpose of the Soul is to take Dominion over the only Adversary, the World Mind and it's thoughts tempting him to believe mortality/form/decay is reality. He knows Divine Love can not express itself through a Material Consciousness. He knows he that Realizes he is the Son of God has Eternal Life. He then walks through the world of mortal appearances a Divine Being in who the 5 Senses of Mortality have been Impersonalized, and therefore hold no power over him. His fidelity is to the Immortal Spirit he is, and no longer to the mortal sense of life, not of God. He knows the RESURRECTION takes place when he drops the belief and reliance upon the False Appearances of the World Mind of Mortality through the Acceptance and Realization of God/Spirit being the only Infinite, Perfect, Omnipresent Being, thereby knowing his true self to be the Infinite, Perfect, Omnipresent Spirit of God. He knows he Must OVERCOME the Mortal Belief he is not Immortal, Divine Being, and Only then can he be called: A Priest of God Pick up the Cross of Immortality and Bear it despite mortal appearances and the temptation to entertain them as reality! To the Degree in which we can walk through the false world of mortality and not be disturbed by it is the Path of the Realized Christ Within! Peace Be Unto You

As a "gentile" believer, I am very grateful for this video (and your others). I feel as though I have been "grafted" into a the tree, and have so much history to learn about the Jewish nations and Hebrew. It's clear to me that reading the Bible makes so much more sense from the Jewish perspective. For example, I didn't know "Gethsemane" meant oil press. I didn't know "Gentile" means nation-- I didn't even know Christ means Messiah (though I definitely knew Christ was my messiah)! So much deeper understanding can be found! Thanks again for the educating and wonderful video.

My family, we are several generations MESSIANICS! I too felt displaced by believers and my Jewish Brethren. I loved the comment where he said he felt like he had to carry around his credentials. I always felt I had to carry around my 'Get out of Gentile jail free card'. My mother is proudly Jewish-Messianic, both her parents were Messianic, their parents etc. Just because we found Jesus/Yeshua is the Messiah, doesn't make us less Jewish. My children have also been raised Messianic. My grandmother is a Cohen, though she is female, I still claim Levite through her. Let us also consider we are under a New Covenant, and I do believe though the tribes have been scattered, THE LORD has kept good records of where HIS people are.

That made me move direction going back home... meanwhile talking with a stranger about Jesus, calling the other who accompanied me, that we had to move away from there.... took a taxi drove home, more or less hell broke loose there, and that made me realize that if I ever wanted to be able to live in this world and help other people i could only do so in having faith in Jesus! That made me wonder, how do I do so? And called someone, who directed me to a pastor..............that was 3-01-1983 13-03-1983 i got baptized by immersion, two weeks later I was baptized with The Holy Spirit ....And it was easy under uneasy situations..lets put it as such :) Glory to God

Love this so much! My grandfather was a Pentecostal Holiness pastor from 1917 to 1953. His family was Italian from Northern Italy and my great-grandparents were saved through Methodist missionaries and in 1917 were filled with holy Spirit. Years later after being married 10 years, my husband and I attended a Messianic Jewish congregation in Memphis where we lived after I grew up in the Assembly of God Church many many years. We very much lie the Jewish people. I grew up loving the Jewish people and supporting everything God was doing in Israel and had the privilege of going to Israel in 2014 and want to go back again. So bad. Thank you for this beautiful beautiful message. 🥲

My father is a jewish christian and I’m a Christian as well. Through the years Ive attempted to communicate with online jewish communities but have been rejected for not being jewish enough (according to them) And generally they are not friendly about it either. Yet Ive seen people introduce themselves into these communities who say their maternal grandmother was Jewish and they are welcomed with open arms and congratulated for being Jewish ! As far as I’m concerned there’s no logic or biblical consistency to this belief. It’s always been a sore spot for me so Ive had to put a little distance with anything relating to my Jewish heritage which is sad for me being that half of my family is Jewish after all.

Tribal lineage is traced through the father in Biblical Judaism. Yes, you are a physical descendant of Abraham in the eyes of HaShem. Don't let Talmudic law make you believe differently. One needs to remember that today's Jewish religion is not Biblical Judaism but rather Rabbinical Judaism, as it is now based on the Oral Law and rabbinical literature, and not so much on the Written Law. Otherwise, you are HaShem's "apple of his eyes" here in the natural and spiritual, regardless what other Jews tell you.

The blessing the Lord gave us is that the answer for every question is in the question. So if he's like "How could we believe in three gods?" Just say "We only believe in one. Reality just has alot of people." If someone does not believe. There is a reason they do not believe. An Athiest asks for evidence. How about all the evidence ever. So I could pray he gets some evidence. But how would that help if his problem was a talking snake? So what does he say?

@@Ordinal_Yoda I don't know what he believes exactly - it flip flops. He recently put up a cross in the windshield of his work vehicle, so he's at least receptive to Christianity. On the other hand, he sees a lot of what is going on in the world as government-orchestrated rather than God's word coming to pass.

Really enjoyed this especially as I’ve just found out a cousin of mine is Jewish. Her mother, my first cousin , was married to a Dutch man, so I never thought too much about her foreign sounding married name. After all these years , after discussing DNA tests some of our family have done, she shared the news how her husband, no longer living, was Jewish! His parents came over to the UK before the 2nd World War, so escaped the holocaust, but those left behind unfortunately, many perished . So I was thinking, her daughter is kind of Jewish but not fully, as her mother my cousin, is gentile……but now I can think otherwise! She did share that her in-laws were not practicing Jews. They’re both unbelievers by the way. But this testimony was amazing! Thank you for sharing, very encouraging!

So good. Maybe there is someone that would pray for a lady I met at SMU college in Texas. We were passing out bibles and she was Jewish and said she had her tenakh and that’s all she needed. One of the guys with our group said” so you’ll go to hell I guess” that really troubled my spirit. I don’t know if the woman heard it, but I pray that God would reveal Jesus to her and those hateful words would be replaced with the love of God.

I love to hear this history explained!! My great grandmother was a European Jew. I would love to find out more about my heritage (Jewish)!! In my DNA Jewish shows up(5%), and with our current world is showing more hatred of Jews, I have personally called myself Jewish!!! I have many other ethnicities in my DNA, but I am very proud to have Jewish in my bloodline!

What a wonderful teacher! I learned alot from both of you, as a Messianic! Born of a Jewish mother, I always thought Jewishness is through The Father, as Scripture shows! Either way, I'm from the Tribe of Levite through my mother. And all believers are grafted in, so we're all family❤
