I remember picking up a friend on the gas station looking like a bump but he turn his life around and is sober now thank Jesus for it look for him.

As someone who is just over 8 years clean, every single verse of this mix hits in it's own way. I'm so grateful to Dax for not only having the courage to make a song like this, but also for using his platform to help others. This is genius. On another note, I'm not sure who the woman is on that third verse but DAMN GIRL! That was incredible!

Nearly 3 years. Something to be so proud of. I am proud of you. Great songs, unique voices, great lyrics what a song!! It is also guts in a bottle; when wasted you may feel you can say anything, do anything ect. Yes I know family members still in that dark nightmare of "this world is to much and a bottle will make it better. We are there for you, always. Greetings from South Africa

Hi Saeed, good for you sober!!!! Zelf ben ik 13 jaar clean van speed, alcohol ook maar de laatste tijd heb ik toch een glaasje gepakt. Niet zoals eerst, maar door de pijn van mijn ziekte en niet kunnen slapen. Wandelen met m'n hond gaat al 4 jaar niet.... maar excuses hebben we altijd genoeg voor de sociaal geaccepteerde verslaving. Dankjewel voor je eerlijkheid in je reacties... groetjes uit Nederland ❤ En idd wat die mooie dame zegt als iemand schreeuwt en niemand het hoort heb je dan eigenlijk wel een stem....

I was going down that path, but luckily I got out of the environment that was really bad for me in time. When the first thing I thought about in the morning was whiskey, I knew I was heading into somewhere I didn't want to be, so I managed to get out and am so grateful now ❤ stay strong, much respect from 🇧🇻

I got much further along that path that i wanted to. Not a great place to be. Glad i got out and very happy you recognized the red flags and warning signs. That is definitely a big one (that i ignored) Thanks for sharing. Love from Belgium ❤️

Never be silent in this subject, it's so important to keep in people's mind (even if they aren't ready to be sober yet)! You're saving lives, with ZERO judgment, that I can tell anyway. "Kudos to those who can still get high without problems... keep the humor in it" FACTS. I've said before, my parents have been sober 30 years this year, and my mom still throws out jokes that throws my husband through a loop (I'm almost 39 so I'm used to it), but I'm glad you're finding comedy/joy/honesty in sobriety!

Ok, so Dax re-released this "new" Mega remix. The original remix is about 20 mins long and has many of these same artists + many more on it. It came out in May 2022. This was so impactful that he redid it again now. You should watch the original one. It's so GOOD! Also, congratulations on your sobriety ✌🏼🫶🏼

The biggest struggle for me is "Am I just kidding myself" The liquor shop is never far Neither the store, nor the bar. Am I just faking this climb, lying, or am I winning this time? Why were you the friend I never had a dad, something that picks me up when I'm sad. All I know is I can't let you get me, my family, I hope I continue to see. I'll live with you for the rest of my days, till I die, the other voice sidetracking my ways. When I look back I wish I knew, you were evil, not someone cool. Not today devil not tomorrow, maybe next week, maybe ill drown my sorrow For now I'll keep resisting the urge avoiding you, even when I'm on the verge.

I came close to falling down the slippery slope in late 2020 into early 2021. Luckily, I stopped myself. The pain still sucks to this day. I still drink, but it's casual now and on special occasions. I don't feel like I used to wanting to drown my problems away with a bottle of burbon during that 6 - to 8-month window.

Zelf heb ik ook alle redenen om te stoppen met de biertjes maar zit nu in de fase van '1 is teveel en 10 is te weinig'😢 En dan zijn er nog die 'pretsigaretjes' erbij... Er komt een dag dat ik er klaar mee ben, maar wanneer..? Aaaanyways, nogmaals gefeliciteerd met wat je bereikt hebt man! Echt een prestatie 👊
