The speaker does not replace a sound bar. But let assume you don't have a sound bar, then it'll work for the time being. I would say that It is as loud and powerful as two Google home speakers. So nothing too crazy. The bass is a 2/10, the highs and mids a 5/10. It does not replace a good sound system but works as one if you don't have a sound system. Hope that helps.
