Yes! It was open this time around. The last time I was there it was closed.

Magic Queue seemed to work pretty well for those using it. There was hardly anyone with it, so you almost always went straight to the front. At least for a weekday. Might be more using it on a weekend. Either way, it should save you a fair amount of time after lunch time when the park gets busier.

We had so much fun for sure! My youngest crying at the end. He didn’t want to leave. It took him awhile to get the confidence to go down the slides and once he did, he didn’t want to stop.

We actually had to delete the live from last Tuesday. So it’s not up. Just had some sensitive family content in it that family members asked us to remove it for. Nothing to serious. Just they’d have preferred it not be there.

I don’t have any plans to return until the new season begins in March. It’s pretty cold here right now so I wouldn’t plan a trip during Christmas if that’s what you’re planning. As for their regular season, I’d say this video is indicative of a normal weekday. I don’t believe we’ve gone on a weekend. I’ll look into doing that next year to be able to provide a more rounded experience.

April is a toss up with weather. I’ve seen 70s and water park weather at the end of March. I’ve also seen jacket worthy days in May. I’d say you’ll be fine for some water enjoyment though. I went to Legoland Water Park on March 24th last year with a high of about 62. It was cold out of the water, but we still had a blast.

The park receiving the negative comments was Philadelphia, which has an entirely different culture. I have not seen or heard of any of those problems existing in San Diego. My wife is Indian, and we've received racist comments about our marriage from individuals living on the East Coast in the past, but never have we experienced that on the West Coast. That certainly doesn't make it excusable, only trying to explain that each park is going to have it's own unique challenges due to the culture in which that park hires its employees from.

Both are fairly terrifying in the right circumstance. 😂 Cookie Monster has a higher thrill, but Oscar’s is more family friendly so I’ll go with Oscar’s.

The minimum height requirement for most of the water slides is 42” with the exception of Cookie Monster Mixer at 48”. Even so, there are two areas we didn’t film on this visit that are designed for the littler ones. Plus the Lazy River and Wavepool are open to all. The dry rides vary from 36” to 38” in height requirements with 4 of them having no height requirement.

I think last week of June would be less crowded than Spring Break. San Diego is a huge Spring Break destination. The weather would be better for you end of June, too. Weather in San Diego can be finicky though. The closer to the water you are, the more stable the temperatures are, but the lower the high is. At SeaWorld, in March, it won’t get above 60. But it could be 72 and Sunny in Chula Vista for Sesame Place. End of June will be pretty warm all the way around.
