Soccer Aid started in 2006 as a brainwave of UNICEF UK ambassador Robbie Williams. Every two years two teams of celebrities and football legends from England and the Rest of the World play a match to raise funds for UNICEF and change the lives of children around the world.

Why does anual event continue in it's current format,Why does it have to england v the Rest of the World? Why not Blues v Reds or any other colour configuration for that matter,pull name's from the hat ex player's and celebrities alike,why does the event continue in england? When in fact it's an appeal to the British, Northern Ireland, and Republic of Ireland nation's to sponsor! or is this going to continue as an english supremacist propaganda jolly boy's night out? C'mon people let's get this event on a level playing field,We live in a world with enough segregation! Change the format or better still pull it ITV.
