Always loved Jermain Defoe man and always wondered why he never ended up at one of the big boys down there.....Man U, Liverpool or Arsenal. He well deserves to have won a title. He might be 36 but think he's still got a lot to offer. Kenny Miller done well beyond that age. David Weir and so on. It does happen and I have hopes for Defoe. Will get at least a good six months out of him, hopefully longer if he performs or doesn't get a recall down south.

Tom Hartland but unfortunately he wasnt. Yes he was a great player part of a great team but as a player he was not even close to gerrard. Gerrard could do everything play any position and excel where as scholes playing left mid for england was atrocious
