Couldn’t agree more when it comes to the Vapor III’s. I’m 27 now, and these were the boots I forced myself over and over to wear in high school, hoping the blisters would stop. I just completely loved the look of them. I tried everything, from triple socks to wrapping my toes in tape. Nothing worked. Even so, they are somehow still my favorite boots of all time, particularly in the red colorway Cristiano wore in the 2006 WC. Thanks for the awesome videos!!!!

I know this is pretty late, but as a Vapor 4 user who suffered through those blisters, I learned a trick. Put a dryer sheet in your sock where the blisters would show up. Works like magic. Two other players on my team did the same thing and never got a blister again. Not so much an issue now, but if it happens, there you go lol

I still remember as a 16 year old, my mate threw his vapor 4 SL at me and immediately I was amazed at how featherly light they were. Good old days. Still love my vapor 5.

I had the red & gold vapor 4! Definitely remember the blisters from those pink heel things. I remember you had to cut them out. Kinda makes me appreciate the modern boots more & understand why the prices are a lot higher nowadays. They’re so light & comfy right out the box. Old boots never really did looking back

They should really go back to the Vapor 3 design, but with the new tech. Imagine a flyknit Vapor, with the small swoosh, and somehow shiny finish.

After 12 seasons of playing with my Vapor 3 the sole plate finally separated. It did take half a season to break them in, along with several blisters (the yellow foam still has the bloodstains). I’ve tried other boots since getting the vapor 3 but nothing else compared.

The Vapor 3 is my absolute favourite. I had 5 different pairs from the age 13 to 17. No blisters what so ever in that heel! Would buy a pair right away if I had the chance.

Interesting video mate, I had the 2010 mercurials (pink colorway) and it never gave me blisters or any discomfort, I might add that was a takedown model. Same with the '06 vapor (white-gold colorway). I did not have any issues but again that was a takedown. Maybe takedowns are used to be more comfortable than hifh-end models?🤔

That was the Nike GS. Also horribly uncomfortable, and while Mercurial inspired, they're technically not Mercurials.

vapor iii's and vapor ii's are my favorite cleats of all time. Unfortunately, they cause blisters and the iii's don't last long because the soleplate is too weak. Nevertheless, they are the best looking shoes.

Growing up in China I remember seeing those superfly 1 sold in a Chinese decathlon and I remember thinking those shoes look fake I’ve never seen them before (I wasn’t the type who knew much about any type of boots other than total 90) now looking back on it I realise why I never actually saw them being used on tv, though there is at least one game where I’ve seen Ronaldo wear them but it was one of those KZfaq highlight videos

It's funny how the Vapor 3's made it to this list. Because to me, these were so nice in all aspects. I had 5 or 6 pairs of these in the age from 14-18 and I LOVED them. I would buy them over any boot to this day. Sadly it is hard to get my hands on any.

Vapor 3 the worse 😱 those are my favorites of all time. I just wear 2 pairs of socks and poof no more blisters...I have narrow feet so that’s why I can get away with two socks

Loved the Superfly 2. top-down models though. I still love that purple colourway :) But thos Vapor 4 were always something I wanted. They were badass

When I was young Lotto was my big choice. Then some mates in my team started to wear mercurial boots. They tried Vapor 4 and returned to lotto. I tried vapor 4 had 0 issues beside the upper wasn't very durable. After Lotto disappeared, I made switch to mercurial, only after mercurial 8 which I'm getting tired how uncomfortable the 9th really was. T90 was my second pick along with the predator PS and X (X was the beast IMO). on my last season of semi pro career, Adipure 3 came as my all time favorite hero of all boots. Has similar feeling with Lotto zhero, yet light enough.

I didn't experience any blisters with the Vapor 4, I bought the vapor 4 in the launch orange colourway and it was really good for me, however before that I bought the Mercurial Vapor 3 and that gave me bad blisters on my heel. however I still loved the way both boots looked

I never had a problem with the Vapor 3 but I know others did but still one of my favourite guess I was just lucky they didn’t cause any pain or blistering lol had them in red/white and white/gold and was bar far the best design. if they new ones with that design on the fly knit upper I’d buy them instantly

I played in all of these vapors, but somehow i dont remember any discomfort with the vapor 3's! I mean boy but these damn vapor 4's killed me every Time on the pitch! could Not wear them the hole game, always had to Switch Boots at halftime! But damn they looked good! I still play to this day with vapors but i really dont like that the vapor 12 Elites comes with flyknit! Tried it, disliket it, gave them away as a Gift! Now im rockin the 12 pros and i really have to say i never had a better take down Model in my Life! Nothing comes close! maybe the veloce 2, those also blew me away as a take down Model. I had the Vapor I's II's and III's. The II was the best shoe I have ever worn and the III's were also amazing. Never had any blisters like this guy, I always wear two pair of socks though. One thin pair of under socks to prevent blisters and then my soccer socks. I think this guy needs to find a thin pair of socks to go under his soccer socks or wear trusox and all of his blister issues will go away. I definitely do not agree with his list and it makes me question all of his reviews now.

Football boots should NOT HAVE ANY PROBLEM WITH COMFORT! It's the most important thing! Why are companies making new shoes every year if they don't fit. Screw all the "technology" marketing. If it's comfortable and fits well all other things are secondary.
