God I wish they made a comeback with better mechanisms and gameplay, I now own a gaming PC and a console but I won't ever forget where I started off as a gamer. Love you social point.

Sigh ... childhood memories, long story short. dreamed about this game last night, so that's why i'm commenting here. I was not the best player on it back then "not cheating or 50+ Op dragons etc" ... I loved the simplicity of the game.

The soul mixer system was so much fun to use, I loved it! I used to forget about coming back to the game to get my new troop from the soul mixer, so I would come back after a month and mix 2 more and then leave for another month LOL I also loved all of the dragons and I used to try to let 2 dragons race each other to see which one was faster 😂

Social Empires, Social Wars, Pet Society, Restaurant City, Car Town, Miscrits World, Curio Quest, Dungeon Rampage, Dungeon Blitz, Monster Galaxy... i cant remember how many Facebook games accompanied me through my childhood but the lists are the one which have a special place in my heart. Social Empires and Social Wars feels like the same game in different outfit. Their gameplay concept are basically same but units from Social Empires are from old/mythical civillization while units from Social Wars are based on modern era where gunfire and robots are a norm. One thing interesting to know is, my daily logins back in the day are gathering resources, defeating enemies, completing daily tasks... same as what i do today in gacha games. Some rules never changed xD. Pet Society and Restaurant City i cant remember much up until i saw their rare video gameplay somewhere. They are the very first few Facebook games that went popular and have large player base, but sadly shut down years bf4 flash player declined their services. Car Town is my best childhood game, no doubt, i get to know most of the cars name thanks to this game. Meanwhile this game also continued my hype to learn more about cars in the future as i hoped to become an automotive engineer! Monster Galaxy is also one of the early games available until the end of flashplayer. It is based on Pokemon, but their music and illustrations are legendary. i used to spend my time levelling up my mogas, exploring around the moga galaxy, and last but not least spent 99 starseeds just to capture Spike. Yikes, the uncanny still haunts me when i remembered it. Sadly, the game right now is a P2E game, which i am not interested in. Miscrits World is a game which is almost the same gameplay concept as Monster Galaxy, but Miscrits has better skill features and strategics, as well as a wonderful 2D open-world exploration feature. You get to walk around and encounter Miscrits, fight or capture them to join your team. i remember trying to memorize the real-time and locations where the specific rare Miscrits could appear to be captured, and the most memorable place in Miscrit must be the Mount Gemma as well as The Shack. Both having beautiful BGM and map illustration, as well as the spooky atmosphere carved despite it being 2D. It is one of the most detailed captcha game that you can get to play in FB. Curio Quest is just like a placeholder for me when Miscrits is no longer available to be played, The only thing Curio Quest i found it fun to play is the illustration of the Curio and bgm, gameplay wise it is another Monster Galaxy. Dungeon Rampage... The best action game in FB no doubt, and i believe this game has a special place in everyone who had ever played FB games bf4 getting introduced to mobile legends. really hope the original creators could bring it back in some form. Dungeon Blitz... this is the game where i spent my most of my time grinding for legendary weapons. From the Early stage of gameplay where i have to get carried by old players to clear Dreaded Dungeon, to the time where i am the one who carry players to clear the Dreaded Dungeon while the old players are offline for centuries. It is also the last game i played in FB, bf4 flashplayer retired. i Remember chatting with so many unknown players around the world about how disappointed games like Dungeon Blitz are unavailable anymore until the closure of flashplayer. Monster Legends and Dragon City are still available so i wont talk about them. Eventho these two are still the same game you played in FB, but the feelings are totally different now, examples being : Training Pandaken in Monster Legends and Rainbow Dragon in Dragon City, you get to use these two fellas everywhere you go, from easy to hard stages, and now...Everything has changed for better Vintage games could never be back anyhow. I know in Github and Discord a lot of us tried to bring back these games, but deep down we know that even if they are back somehow, the feelings would never be the same as before.

I still remember spending HOURS on merging souls and getting excited to get a new troop i don't even know exists, i also still remember getting the rainbow, galactic, electric bahamut, and some other dragon from playing dragon city monster legends and social wars hahahh And my favorite part about the game, that epic main theme music, i swear it never gets old

played this game every day, even spent some money on it to get some op champions... you can guess how i felt when the game shut down...

Man I remember the first time playing this game , we didn't have a pc at home and I didn't even have a Facebook account, I would ask my father for the equivalent of half a dollar and I'd go with my older brother to a place where you pay for time on the pc, the half dollar was for an hour of time, my brother let's me borrow his Facebook account to play the game "social empires" in exchange for him using the first half hour himself. I truly loved this game and when we bought our first pc I would play it when ever I was allowed to use the pc. And I remember the day I logged in to play it and it didn't work, at the time I was waiting for an ice and fire dragons to mix in the soulmixer, I refreshed the page frantically and when I found out that they shut down the servers I was devastated. I hope I can play the full version someday.

This was soo good, everyone in my class were playing it, such a great memories.

I completely forgot about the cemetery, and will 100% be adding that in, instead of the mechanic I was trying to figure out.

They can just bring this game back and improve anti-cheating softwares within the game. It shouldn't cost that much knowing they still have a few games running up until now. This game is a good investment.

There were some character designs on artstation for a sequel, plus take two interactive(which now owns social point) has renewed the trademark for social empires, i kinda hope they make a good sequel to this game

Social empires was dope back in the earlier days of facebook :( i remember me and my best friend at the time playing all night on the phone and showing off the cool new stuff we were getting.

I was an F2P player of this game before, and watching this video makes me very sad. I have reached lvl. 50 in the game, already collected all Extreme Dragons (even riders) by Soul Mixer alone. I never cheated in the game and already reached the God Isle. I was crying that time when it was deleted😢

Miss the game. I always grind free troops and l like to use catapults back then for its long ass range that snipes enemy that are too strong 😂 or use them to troll friends. So much childhood memories i created from this game, sadly its gone and cant play again😢. Such a good game as well and i cant find the same feeling it has in any other games because it so unique that it feels actual world for people with a lot of interesting things going on. Rip Social Empire😢 will alway remember you⚔️❤

This brought me back to my childhood

The problem with this game is how Predatory and P2W. You can guess why kids loved cheating on this game and having the power that was locked behind a pay wall. They literally put their weekly new unit outside your base doing some flashy moves in order to pump dopamine in the kids head. I remember this so vividly even as a 8 yo child. Imagine a unit that can spew out 3 minions to take agro from the enemy while the big ones do the damage. Imagine 50 of that swarming you with 3 of each minions. That graveyard will only be filled by some trash mobs that died a month ago of your playthrough

Getting a Huge collection of dragons and other minion spawning troops and egg spamming missions was great

I remember some guy on youtube documenting how to choose the correct rewards in the free daily rewards to get a dragon. I was so excited to get one, I was one day short...and then the daily rewards, or at least the dragon part, was removed D: That's when I left the game, I was so angry about that, it was like 2013 I think?

Cheating was the end game of social empires in our school men this game was cool we were batteling eacother in school. We were flaming this guy who woke up early in the morning to get some extra loot. But when we found cheat engine we felt so cool about it and did were competing who could have the most amount of troops while cheating.
