OMG Social media is one of the biggest problems in relationships today. It’s not that I get jealous when my boyfriend likes a half naked girls picture but it def makes me feel a certain type of way. Especially if he likes pic within an hour or posting. The fact that he went out of his way to go and like their picture regardless if it was on their timeline or not, is annoying.

As a woman that has dealt with this, It always turns to physical usually. The wife has brought it to his attention and instead of FIXING it, he said she's being insecure. So true Tony. I asked my now ex husband to keep his conversations with a co worker work related only and his response was "ok, I understand." He could not look me in my eyes and give me a yes or no answer. I knew then, it was more. And sat in marriage counseling underneath his breath and utter the words, "I don't want to lose my friend." Not me his wife. I was so taken back and glad I had already filed for a divorce. Still til this day, which I'm working on stopping (soul tie is a beast) he's still lusting even after our divorce on her social media aka platonic friend, he's not attracted to. And, the marriage counselor said, I was insecure and he agreed while smelling of alcohol. Huh! So glad I left that grown BOY after 18 years of knowing, 15 years together and 5 years married with no children. I'm worth more and deserve more. Wish we both agreed. Divorce is like a death im still hurting every day, but i did what i knew God said, was needed.

I will never forget a guy I loved so deeply and engaged to. He always found a way to say things about the pics of some pretty women and several in particular. He put hearts on their pics and said things but they didn't know I existed. He never dud any of that for me. On day, there was a pretty girl whose pic he put a heart on and said, "perfect." He had put me thru so much in a many ways already not just social media. That was the straw that broke the 🐫 camel's back. It hurt me so much. I never comment on videos but I just have to say thank you. I reached out to an old friend after he posted that he was dealing with a difficult situation. I replied to him to call if he needed someone to talk to. When he called he didn’t discuss the issue at all, he flirted with me. This made me uncomfortable so I rushed him off the phone. And now it makes me thinks how many of them was he actually DM because I wouldn't know. He always talked his way around it but my intuition kept telling me its not right and I found it very disrespectful but then even after me stating it made me uncomfortable nothing seemed to change he wouldn't even want to speak about it and then he left me for someone 10 years younger. I really enjoy listening to Tony Gaskins. His wisdom and his advice are based on Biblical principles. I am a Holy Spirit filled born again Christian. My husband and I have a very good marriage relationship ( of course not perfect ) with great communication. He and I have facebook accounts and are each other's facebook friends. We have over 700 mutual facebook friends. Our mutual and non mutual friends are family on both sides, co-workers, our church family, close friends, volunteers of our outreach organization we operate. My husband and I sometimes check "like" on the opposite gender friend's photo. These photos are decent ones, no where near half naked or are they any where near explicit or sexual. My husband and I know our boundaries. We first honor God and respect each other. When checking a "like" on the opposite gender's photo it depends like Tony says the nature of the photo and the intent of the viewer checking "like". My husband NEVER pays any attention to females explicit photos. He does not have such friends on his contact list. Rarely he comes across it on his public news feed when obviously it's posted by a male facebook friends. He keeps scrolling. And the same for me on my news feed. The opposite gender's photos we check "like" are family members, other people we personally know. Our intentions are to show appreciation and encouragement to the person(s). The person is fully clothed and the scene shows an appropriate and healthy activity scene. So again my husband and I know and respect our boundaries. We mostly check "likes" on group pictures and when a person(s) has made a great accomplishment. I know this comment is long. But wanted to put this out there and hope and prays this helps others.

My friend since childhood stated until he is married all these helping and assisting other woman ceased. But I asked, why not do so in the relationship you're now in, if you both are committed. i hear a lot of people being in agreement with looking in their significant others' phones, and feeling justified when they find evidence of wrongdoing, or convinced that it's just a matter of time when they don't. i disagree -- i think that even married coupes should have a certain expectation of privacy, and it is an unequivocal show of distrust to go in someone's phone, and believe me, that distrust will spread over into other areas like a cancer. not only that, it's a feeble attempt at control. as a people who are trying to mirror the image of God, we should be no different than He is in this respect -- God gives us permission to use our freedom of choice to sin or to follow Him. i believe that God is over ALL, and we should listen to that Voice that says, "this is the way, walk ye in it..." and that He "will never leave you or forsake you..." and we should also trust Him when He says, "be sure your sins will find you out..." i trust Him -- he always gives the truth to those who have eyes to see and ears to hear (and those who don't). i have never looked through a man's phone. i have had SO many other clear indications from God that things weren't right, that looking in his phone would have just been a verification at least, and an insult at most.
