Marcus is my favorite player and I didn't know about the green comment from his mom. I thought it was just a cookie match thing he did cuz he wore green. I even commented that I would be really dad the first time I saw him in blue hair. Marcus is great, Memphis will love him, he's basically Tony Allen with a jumper and who can guard centers too.

I think context clues matter in this discussion. He said his mom said "she never got a chance to see it green" not that she liked green out of all colors or was her favorite color. He dyes his hair anyway so ESPN was within right to change his hair color post trade.
