The guy who did beat even told the cops he did. Drunk guy said no it was me I complied and didn't resist I was giving a desk appearance ticket because I was a FBI employee. When I went to court the drunk guy said he made a mistake. Because he was drunk then fbi agents arrested him for falsely accusing a government employee of a crime.

I wonder where we can find a list of her campaign donors, especially any foundations. The county attorney position has been a targeted investment for a certain foundation, run by GS. A PATTERN and possibly an attack vector. I'm sure people have different perspectives, but we should be informed and the issue of transparency is the primary issue at hand. Honestly the chief needs to review the State' use of force guidelines. The Trooper had cause. Pennsylvania vs Mims doesn't State that you get to drive off, injure or possibly take a life of an officer, and start a chase that can lead to innocent bystanders being injured or killed because of the perpetrator' bad decision. There is more to this story, and imo has a lot to do with race and not law.

It wasn’t just a critique, it was an accusation. If the PD is indeed “slow walking cases” she can engage city leadership and the department. Have specific examples not generalizations. If that doesn’t fix the issue, engage with the DOJ. Don’t hold a press conference to score political points and not expect push back. Simply by the way she handled it, I think she’s full of BS.

@@thatsnotme6601 I don’t know. Could be a multitude of reasons. He might of decided airing a dispute with DA’s office as unprofessional, erode the public’s confidence in the legal system. He might have been instructed to by the Mayor, city manager, or public safety director. Might have been asked to by DA. They may have reached a resolution. She might have threatened not to prosecute cases from his department. He might have had a change of heart. I have no idea why he took the video down.

What happened Bloomington PD? Did the county attorney tell your department that planting your officers outside every establishment that serves alcohol in the city just so you can randomly pull over patrons in hopes of finding someone who might blow the legal limit is no longer allowed? Bloomington PD is pointless. They always have been. 🙄

@@turtletruth I would have to very much agree. Out of the 7591 words that make up the US Constitution and it's Amendments the word "police" appears not once. It does clearly state that "(t)he Citizens of each State shall be entitled to all Privileges and Immunities of Citizens in the several States". Police being citizens means that they, by law, should have no more or less immunity than the average person. Hopefully time will correct this mistake.

When talk about police reform became an active national topic in 2020 policd officers all over the country casually threatened to do exactly what she was talking about here. So to pretend like no cop would ever do that, or at the very least threaten to do so, is denying reality. Whether or not these officers would, I don't know. But cops are not perfect paragons of morality.

American law enforcement is trained to control, demand compliance, and violate civil rights. American police demand respect, in lieu of EARNING RESPECT. We need to END QUALIFIED IMMUNITY. They always investigate themselves and find they did nothing wrong. PAID LEAVE also needs to be abolished.

The next election for Hennepin county attorney is November 2026. I'm not sure Hennepin county can survive that long with Moriarty wreaking havoc in the county attorney office. However, with good men like Chief Hodges pushing back, there is hope.

No. He means that when an official says derogatory things about police, people will have less confidence in police, which will make the general public less safe.

Any entity who can’t handle criticism/critiquing deserves less confidence. The fact that they’re able to legally lie to citizens breeds the environment where they won’t be believed. Lastly police don’t keep people safe, they come after crimes have already been committed. They have a poor track history of solving crimes often times get the wrong person is charged,they often over charge people with crimes to quiet criticism. But I can you’re one of those people who won’t see anything wrong with how police officer do their job until you are wronged yourself by them. Smh

Slow walking cases is a nation wide problem with law enforcement agencies. The chief doesn’t like the citizens or this county attorney saying anything bad against his department.
