And yet Social Security won’t SIGNIFICANTLY RAISE the “earnings test” to match the rate of inflation we’ve been under for the past three years!!! It ought to be $30,000+, not a piddly $22,320! Inflation, gas, groceries, home property taxes, homeowners’ insurance is all going through the roof!

Remove the cap on payroll ( currently no wages over $126k a year DOES NOT PAY SS TAXES ) - Make the government payback EVERY penny taken from SS plus 10% interest - STOP paying for migrants from Social Security, the rules say if you DID NOT CONTRIBUTE TO SOCIAL SECURITY you are not eligible to receive 1 penny.

I am just expressing how i feel about what governments are doing with SSI. All of our sienors worked all of their life to pay and support our government so they can spend and waste our money the way they see fit. But now seniors are to old to work to make any more contribution to our government so they are willing to throw sienor to the streets. We are all just a money makers and robot to our government. If you cant make money for the government they dont care what happeneds to you. If you cant make money for them you are just problem and burden to them. Cutting SSI is just another way of getting rid of old and useless people who cant contribute to the government anymore. Government are hoping they can get rid of sienors faster and sooner and one ways to do it is cutting SSI making harder for seniors to live. How sad it is.

Ovomit was the first to suggest ending social security. That being said neither party has done anything to fix the problem. They created a bill called inflation reduction act which wasnt to reduce inflation at all infact it increased inflation. They could had used that money or the money they sent to ukraine to fix social security as we can all see they didnt they claim we need to protect democracy yet if social security fails then that might be the last nail in the coffin for our republic as we know it
