I saw this at a festival. The movie is greater and VERY different from "Alive", it has a different protagonist, a different POV of the story, and it's a far more accurate adaptation of the accident (the survivors say this too). It was filmed chronologically, with Uruguayan and Argentine actors, who lost up to 20 kg of weight during filming. The main actor -Enzo Vogrincic- is outstanding. Bayona interviewed the survivors and the families of the deceased in order to replicate every true detail of the story with upmost respect.

Alive didn’t invent the story. It simply dramatized the true story of these people. Now a different movie is taking inspiration from the same historical event, and hopefully handling the story in an interesting way.
