Brings back memories to when I would play this game as a kid with my dad. Sniping with the Tilly or going full black outfit, all lightweight with the 552 suppressed and just rushing and killing everyone quickly. I also remember purposely dropping the bomb to let enemies know where I am and then killing them hahahaha.

I have a cousin that loved socom, he slept at my house one night and in the middle of his sleep he sat up and shouted "SHOTGUN" he confirmed he was asleep when he did it and even mentioned it to me a few years later.

Man, seeing that loading screen just sent chills down my spine I miss these days being a young kid that wasn't even old enough to play this game along with my dad and his gaming buddies I often wonder how the fellas are holding up since I'm a grown now this game was awesome with the cold front and weapon challenges these were the days I'll take back in a heartbeat great video !

I’ve bee away from gaming for a while. My last hardcore experiences were on PS3, and confrontation is one that I always remember. It was so simple yet so fun. I’d be back to gaming if they were to bring a modern version of this to the latest consoles. Question, why does your gameplay seem to show a higher video fidelity than what I remember? Are you on full RGB mode?

newer tv's i guess they have more visual option like sharpness that increases the details of texture at the cost of a bit more input lag :)

I played CS 1.6 back in the day and wasnt a console gamer. But i bought it to play against my supervisor form work who was good. I got addicted to playing it after killin him and he would sit hours on this game. It still looks good in 2023. The games today are just boring. When you kill someone in this game, it feels so smooth and real, like u earned it.

Socom 4 doesnt work yet but socom 1 thru confrontation work fine, just a fyi socom combined assault and confrontation are the easiest in my opinion to play

@@lagps3337 I sold EVERYTHING after SOCOM 4, Broke game & Cried..Imagine, Grown man crying over video game..But this was all I had for my sanity & escape this life. Then gave console away to nephew. Never been back since…almost hooked on Tom Clancy Division when I went to visit sis but unrealistic..NOTHINGS THAT MAN! Help!! I even got SCAMMED by whoever was trying to make it and needed donations. But all I ever got was a t shirt and patches lol

Are all the bugs still in this version? This game was straight utter Dog-💩 when it was out. I tried, I tried to enjoy it, but it was the only game that ever made me get pissed off. The original first 3 were the best. Confrontation, and Socom 4 were junk.
