I think what op means by this is the following: cleave talent tooltip is fucked. You dont get 40% improved cleave dmg but the bonus dmg, i think its 18 atm, gets a 40% increase. So this talent couldn't be worse. Hope thats a bit more constructive criticism.

Because big damage = threat. Prot does terrible damage and terrible threat. If Shield slam scaled off of attack power instead of Blockvalue, it would be good.

@@russainlove Prot does not do terrible threat. I MT Prot War and have cleared 5/8 ST so far (Only been in 1 time) as deep Prot. With Alpha and Vigilance, I am easily 25-30% higher in threat than 2nd place on the threat meter. With all of the block value that's on ST gear, Shield Slam does a lot of damage and really good threat. Plus with going deep Prot, I easily keep threat while taking a lot less damage so my healers can focus on all of the crazy raid damage that happens in ST. The Devs finally made Prot Wars actual tanks in Classic.

@@CrushingPeanuts i cleared ST the first week with the deep prot build and got bis gear, following week cleared ST with the Prot build and couldnt hold threat anymore with dps doing 1.2k+, then did it on my alt warrior in fury/arms and held more threat and did 800 dps and held better threat with the 2nd raid team that was also doing 1.2k+ on every boss pull. deep prot is ass, until they switch blockvalue off of shield slam as a modifier and switch it to ATK is will ALWAYS be ass.

@@XiaosaGaming you dont need it if your healers are good, your wearing a shield thats buffing your armor to 51% full plate gear 57% + armor buff from healing caps you. full prot doesnt give you any defensives, while rallying cry can be used to sub out last stand if you really needed.

Also with consumed by rage rune any stance dancing basically maling it harder for you to go over 80 constantly. Its just better to start and end all fight in gladiator stance and give up devastate rune for something useful?

Glad stance allows you to use everything in it all runes skills etc. Also even with another sunder effect applied you still get the dot effect from sunder and the threat generated

glad stance is a stance that is used for tanking because it gives you 10% increased damage as well as being able to use abilities from every stance, so instead of running thundering fury you can run CBR since frenzied assault is shit for tanking. you want to use devastate because it will proc a free shield slam with sunder and revenge, what he is showing is fury prot tanking which is good in gnomer, but it probably wont be too good in ST for the time because all the bosses hit like a motherfucker. youre going to want to go 31 point deep prot, 5 points into crit in the fury tree and 5 points into parry in arms. IMO the bets runes for tanking are Vigilance, flagellation, focused rage, Furious Thunder, Gladiator Stance, Sword and Board, and Devastate. This seems like itll be the best runes for tanking until bosses become easier or gear that is equipped is better.
