SoD Phase 4 and its Weird Best DPS Balance

Phase 4 of season of discovery has seen lots of dps spec changes, and this is the closest breakdown we have to which class is best as of the end of the ptr.

Need to remember with ret paladin, in reality it’s quite a bit lower because exo is 100% crit on undead and testwork is undead.

9:23 I am very worried especially since warriors have not gotten a break from all the passive horrible runes 30 min cds should've been 5 min cds from phase 2 you never see warriors in pvp anymore The only time you see warriors is in raids They are nerfing warrior just like they nerfed shaman back then in wotlk

paladin dps is wrong because they hit undead boss at ptr and every exorc is critical...so paladins 300 dps down for sure!

why would a non-solid spiral of fire take any damage from getting hit by a sword? you can't cut fire

you know whats really messed up? The fact blizzard would make changes so that fire spec could shine when they did nothing for rogues in gnomer raid

@@sanmedina what makes you think they're non-solid. Given that they can be hurt by physical objects it's more likely they have some tangible form when manifested on the physical realm. But counter point: Why do enemies have armor at all? Doesn't that just punish us poor physical dps? Blizzard plz nerf.

⁠⁠@@davidinman6020what a wild comment seeing as the context of this video is.. a video game, SoD specifically. all of the other mentions are just you being condescending, let’s be real. the point the OP is making is the fact that as a DPS, you want to feel relevant because of the damage you do. spriest being relegated to the bottom because we bring shitty Vamp Embrace just feels awful. if utility was really the issue, then why the hell have shamans decimated EVERY phase, being able to top as tank or dps & crazy self heals.

shadow priests get vampiric touch which gives mana back like you guys got strong buffs shadow dmg dots above the roof mind spike spam to mind blast crit void plague still does a ton of damage even with nerf

Raids are going to want 1-3 spriest in them for their utility... so not pointless to play.. you will be in very high demand... you just won't be brought for your dmg.. if that bothers you then maybe try another class till blizz removes some of their utility and replaces it with dmg I guess...
