There is a reason this feels nostalgic! These two songs, Cheryl Lynn's Got to Be Real and C&C Music Factory's Do You Wanna Get Funky have been officially remixed and released before! The remix is called "The Nice & Smooth Hiphop Remix" (released 1994) and features a multiple rap verses that aren't heard in this version. This is not meant to be a claim that Tim Legend copied the Nice & Smooth remix, his version has more modern production and a cleaner sound, and is very distinct from the 1994 remix.

subtitles have always defaulted to french for me for some reason, but now i keep it like that for extra nostalgia. this isnt even that old of a video, but i remember being in a really bad place when i first found this video, and now i'm in a much better place and occasionally remember it exists. the song is still awesome, and the animation even more. :) hope you're doing well.
