Hi friends! Today we have a highly requested beauty battle! Two of the newest matte lipsticks on the market will be duking it out for the ultimate title of best longwearing lipstick. These comparison videos are awesome! They really help to make the best informed decision. Would love to know of any shade dupes for No Angel. That shade is stunning but I prefer non-matte formulas.

One of my recent favorites in a hydrating formula that you might want to check out if you like No Angel is the YSL Rouge Volupte Shine in Burnt Zellige! Some others are Rare Beauty “Talented” and the Rose Inc ones have many similar tones 🙂

I am so glad I watched this before buying any of the Nars lipsticks! I LOVE the ones from Dior but they are about as drying as I can handle. Like you said, unless there is a color in Nars I can't get in Dior, I am good. (I have been wanting a deep berry color and nothing available yet really has met what I have in mind.)

Have you tried Revlon In the Zone? It’s berry shade and not as drying (to me) as these both. I do like the Nars Powermatte lipsticks even though it’s more drying. The shades are not as pigmented as other lipsticks similar to it, I feel like. I think Revlon’s in the zone reminds me of Nars’ Highway to Hell, just more pigmented… and not as drying. Revlon’s is Colorstay Suede line.

I always loved the NARS powermatte liquid lipsticks, but the these two new ones look great. The Dior caught my eye instantly and I swatched them in store, and they certainly didn't budge from my hand. The only thing was their £35 price, while the NARS is £26...

Thanks for review, agree with Dior one . Though some of NARS color can’t be found exactly in Dior. There is one new YSL which called bold and it’s not Matt but high pigmented and claim of long wearing. I am curious about that one and there is two new brown shades in this set that attract me. 🧐

Thank you. This review was so helpful! I prefer to rub my lips together during lunch, so that I'm not pressured to reapply my lipstick right away...so that means that I won't be purchasing either of these! I will stick with my Hourglass Confession lipstick for now.

I have a lot of lip lines so I have to be cautious with these types of lipsticks. I def agree the Dior sounds like the better option of the two in value and moisture, but that no angel color is the perfect fall lip. Is there a Dior color that matches?

Isn't Smashbox Cream ti Matte Always ON was the SAME? So many years ago))) And the red shade was really lasting (also, I would say that it works with any brand, the most lasting shade would be classic red one)
