I've got a few sofirn, sp36 pro, sp33v3 and sd05, all good enough for biking, my problem is finding a mount suitable for mtb that will handle drops jumps etc

Hi, it is important that riders with high lumens light do not shine forward. As you said, it will blind riders on the opposite direction. Instead, angled it down to shine on the road ahead.

Hey Lionel and shag, great video guys. Those flashlights are very bright and I have to admit I think the cheaper one is bright enough. I can't imagine having someone coming in my direction and having it shining straight into my eyes. It would blind you. I have a squeaky gate in front of my condo and thought I would call Shag to have him come over and put some oil on it but for some reason the phone number you gave us doesn't work. I got the strangest message that told me I wasn't using enough numbers. Lol

It'll be cheaper buying directly from sofirn, they have shop in aliexpress.. message them first ask if they have any coupon.. i save 15% using the coupon that they gave.

Well it depends, At Turbo, it may run like 3 to 4 hrs. At Normal maybe 24 to 26 hrs At the lowest, which is almost a candle like, would maybe last 6 days. it is really on your usage. Generally it is always filled with power for me for a whole night. I haven't experience it dead yet. Charging takes about 2 or 3 hrs. with USB C. hope that info helps.

I got a q8 pro, still not enough in pure darkness, also the light scatters too much so i dare not turn it on on normal roads. So i opt to have 2 smaller flashlights instead

5000 lumens should be good enough for a small thing like that...8000 is over kill and will get hot very quickly. Get a bigger torch if u want more lumens and if u want distance...get one with high candela. Nice video by the way...another one in the bag.

If the light dims too fast, do calibrate the thermal configuration.

If I will use this flashlights on my bike here in Germany 🚲 .... Every police man will stop me here.... Not allowed in Germany to use on a bike. Much to bright 🌞....
