I'm not a hair expert but just from experience I find that velcro rollers give hair great volume vs. Curl. And I use foam curlers if I want curls.

Small, narrow Foam rollers are def better for tight curls. I have found that Velcro tends to give volume more than anything else.

Looks great! I saw one where she blow dryed her hair first then curled her hair with a curling iron THEN put her hair in rollers. You might like that method. It was amazing volume. Alot of work but the volume was amazing. My mom used to blow dry her hair upside down it gives volume too. My mom and I used to bond with hair and make up so when I'm stressed it's usually the first thing I work on my hair and make up because it reminds me of my mom I miss her so much 😥😭

Me also having a hair stylist mother she is the only woman I trust to do my hair other than myself. She always did fun things to make me feel pretty and confident as a kid she lacked in other ways but she always has my best interests at heart.

Spray the strip of hair prior to rolling. Ur only spray the bottom of the curl so it not holding as well
