was never really into these guys back in the 80's but i went to see them live in '02 anyways. glad i did. it was one of the best shows i have been to. the atmosphere and music was amazing and a lot heavier than listening to a cd. they converted me forever lol

The best American Heavy Metal band, two hands down! PS - I consider Dio more of an English band - Campbell and Bain are English, and Dio was Anglicized in Rainbow and Sabbath; most importantly, their style is way more British than American.
