You might see the name "Studio" and the all-BA design and think "sounds boring." But you'd be wrong. The Softears Studio4 may be neutral in tune, but its technicalities elevate it and make it very fun IEM. But how's it compare to other similar earphones? I've been listening to it for weeks to find out.

Nicely Done. Thanks for removing the nozzle and letting us know about no lip :) I heard about the up & coming Blessing 3. When you get yours can you let us know how the nozzle size compared to the Blessing 2 :) Thanks

Have you tried added gems with glue on the iem to add texture? Or maybe glue sand?

Hi, you said that the texture of the Studio4 were kind of not the best in terms of the timbre or natural reproduction, but what about their speed and resolution in busy tracks? Can it handle thick textures?

Thanks for the review ✌️♥️ Don't you know why Precog pretty much killed this IEM in his review? Something like "no meat on the bone" looks juicy but when you bite not much there "😊 Also how would you subjectively rank Studio 4, Dunu SA6 mk2 and Moondrop S8 in terms of your preference...Thank you ✌️ 🔆

S8 > Studio4 = SA6. Studio4 and SA6 have different strengths, I do find Studio4 more fun and engaging.

I'm between Meteor and Aür Neon pro right know, many people who have the Neon pro tell me to get it. But I have the feeling M. will be soo much fun. So I have to get probably both 😆❤️🙋‍♂️ and all the other sets on your table are killers...crazy times for IEMs

What about EVO vs. Studio4 ? The FR of the EVO is practically identical between 20-1200 Hz, and no big difference above that either.

Talked a bit about that comparison in the Q&A, but Evo is a warmer / darker sound than Studio4. Evo does better in texturing (from memory) but imaging / headstage better on Studio4.

P.S. for you the certain lack of texture and lightness of notes maybe... is a nitpick, for Precog it is deal breaker...hmmm😅

let a friend help you blind test to see if you can actually tell them apart. if not, go with 320k mp3 and save some disk space. or better, 256k m4a.

I totally agree with the bass being much better than meaty than the graph implies. This iem destroys the idea that BA bass cant be fun

I strangely like the design of these, it's a plain design you'd expect on an IEM catered towards musicians a la Shure or Westone. Price is on the steep side but dat graph is very nice, might pick one during 11.11 despite not needing one. #endgameisnotreal

How does it compare to RSV? in terms of details and balance? And you are right. So tired of all these resin shitty looking ims like oracle and xeens top. We are not 12 y.o. gosh ) This one looks premium without fancy sparkles (so as rsv). So unnatural to see grown man with kind of like xenns in his ears....
