The finest rendition Ive heard here.... Praise Jesus! Im a sinner, but I have in Jesus, and this rendition does the lyrics justice. Praise Jesus. If you have little faith, if you have no faith...Jesus Loves you, and he will turn His back on no one. God Bless You, and anyone who reads this.

This is one of the most beautiful and moving acapellas I have ever heard. What a voice!

Alessandro Nivola is a good friend of mine whom I talk to randomly or when we have the chance to work together. The first time I had heard this hymn, it cried. It is the most beautiful song I've heard him sing.

In no way is Junebug stereotypical in its characterization. Maybe you have to be from the South, and more specifically NC, to really grasp how well this movie handled our culture. In no way was it the typical, insulting Hollywood fashion. The movie also had some very poignant things to say about us, especially when it comes to how we communicate with each other -- or sometimes, as often in the South, fail to. It's a beautiful film and I really recommend you give it another chance.

one of the best movies of it's era, i agree

I agree, I think it's one of the most thoughtful depictions of the culture of the South in modern cinema. But I think the same thing about Bernie, and a lot of fans of this film wouldn't agree with me!

Exactly. The filmmakers did a radical thing: they portrayed Middle Americans as people.

This is a whole scene from my childhood I thought would never show up in any movie. It's very moving.

To me, this movie epitomizes the '00s "indie movie", particularly the mid-'00's: quirky, touching, funny/sad. Well done. :)

I called my Mom after watching this movie and told her I am having this song sung at my funeral when I pass. As it turns out, even though it is not a song we sang growing up in Church, it is one of her favorites.

This is an invitation song, it is mostly sung at the end of a sermon to call sinners to obey the gospel and to be saved.

Accapella singing in its purest and most beautiful form! If you'd like to hear more of this type of music, visit your local Church of Christ, where Christians sing accapella only.❤

In the great battle between "Hymns" and "Praise Music" it is often said that todays music is just not the same as the old stuff. in fact they are correct. Praise music could also be called pray music, in most cases it is sung as a prayer between the singer and God. On the other hand most Hymns could be called testimony songs because they are sung from the singer to others around, Both forms are beautiful and have a place in worship. Open your hearts to both forms.
