"People don't realize that writing code isn't our only job as developers". I cannot agree more with you here. I hate videos like "O look, chatgpt can create a web pages from the design and now software engineers are doomed". Sometime I feel like people want software engineers to go away because on average software engineering is highly paid :D I remember one "friend" of mine were jealous that I had much higher salary because I am in software engineering. But he did not want to accept the fact that during my university I spent a lot of time study while he was parting and doing nothing all the time. But I do agree that usually people still don't understand what software engineering is and that writing (like typing) the code is just part of it.

@@zikomo8913 yes, because as AI advances it will consume tons of data which require data centers which require power. We will need electrical engineers for our power systems.

Yes, of course you can. No one is born with good math and DSA skills, it's just a question of time and consistency. You can find lots and lots of free materials about DSA even here on the KZfaq. Just search for "Data structures explained" or something like this. Plus you can practice algorithms and structure for free on sites like leetcode. Not everything will be available for you, but most of tasks with explanations are free.

Instagram/KZfaq/etc is just part of it, there are tons of applications of software engineering in other place. not only inside the Internet.
