Defect means.. - any deviation found by the developer is called defects. Bug- bug is something which is due to of testing team. Error - it is something which is found by any of thm which could be by the requirements or coding.. Failure- it is something we found when the customer gets any deviation from the expected results.. This is what i understand about these four terms.
