No, she didn't have sexual RELATIONSHIP with her father! She was sexually abused. There's a difference. It is important to phrase it properly since victims already feel guilty, they don't need other people to push that narrative with wrong wording.

I dont think anyone meant relationship in a positive way. Im pretty sure they meant it by the literal definition, which can mean the way in which two or more people or groups regard and behave toward each other. You can have a terrible relationship with someone. Please stop getting mad at Mark and nitpicking words when he's literally just trying to get these peoples stories out and trying to get them help.

@@iwatchtoomuchyoutube I respect your opinion. But if you have been molested by incestuous ways or another way, then you would agree that the wording is absolutely critical. An Uncle molesting you from the age of 5-13 years old is not considered any type of relationship. The adults who keep letting the predator around the child had the relationship with the predator. The victim which turns into a survivor never had any type of relationship with the rapist

@@chadharrod5246 Yes she does have to get off of the drugs. Yes she admitted it is her responsibility to stop taking drugs. She even admitted at an early age she agreed to the drugs. She is still using drugs, but she was not the reason of her addiction. Her parents started getting her high off of heavy drugs at an early age, 10? Shooting morphine into her arms, opiate pills. Not only did her mother turn her into a drug addict. Then she was treated like the other woman after she was raped & forced to be her biological father's girlfriend hmm at the age of 13. So if she needed to be numb at an early age, that's understandable. Like she said, that's all she knows, is getting high on drugs. This is a glaringly obvious pattern in these interviews, which I've both experienced in my own life and seen in countless others.

@@j.kyronhanson5644 Well said! I’ve been there, and I agree with you. I had parents who used drugs and alcohol in the house and let the neighborhood run through the house doing so, sometimes when they weren’t there (or were checked out), so violence and abuse would occur without notice. Sometimes it’s even as obvious as my friend’s mother passing the crack pipe to her at 15. She said she smoked it because it was the first time she had spent time with her that she could remember. Another girl I know…her father gave her meth at 13 so he could more easily control and sexually abuse her. He figured if she needed the drugs she wouldn’t fight him anymore. Like I can’t imagine them having that conversation and ALL of them agreeing “yeah let’s do this horrible thing to someone”. Not one of them feels shame? Guilt? How does this happen?? I’m genuinely curious on this mindset I just can’t imagine how human beings can be so heinous. Is it that easy for like minded people to find each other? Do they just think it’s okay because these girls did drugs? Is it just “normal” for some people to rape? I wish there was more research on it because I just really don’t get it. Yeah i feel the same... I don't know how even 1 person could discuss the thought of doing that... I couldn't think of 1 person in my life that wouldn't react with disgust at even the thought of raping someone, nonetheless carrying out the vile act of doing that.... so I don't understand how 5 people can come together and all agree that rape is acceptable... not even 1 person said "no, this is fucked up, we can't do this", I would think 4 out of 5 would be against it and bear the life out of the one person suggesting it or attempting to initiate it.... I too am at a loss for how 5 grown men could do that and be in agreement that that's the right thing to do? High or not another man or group of men could never even attempt that in my presence... I don't get how a man could get enjoyment out of having to force a unwilling sexual encounter... a crying or fighting woman you would think would be a major sexual deterrent but I guess their are some men that are just super mentally sick and fucked up... I don't get it either, I have 2 daughters and I am hyper aware and protective bc I don't trust no one and I'll be damned if my daughter's ever had trauma like that inflicted... just a sick world really and people are evil and vile really. Perhaps it was ignorance, perhaps it was a moment of insensitivity, but I believe an apology is in order. As a person interested in mental health. I can’t help but wonder how her parents were raised… my guess is that alcohol may have played a huge role in her parents demise. She has so much work to do. I hope there are therapists out there that can watch this and spend some time with her.

Her grandparents were likely the products of the wars and depression. My own grandparents were either alcoholics or unloving people. Unfortunately, things like this continue to happen generation after generation. I've done a little digging into the history of my own family and I see the patterns of trauma. Luckily, there are some now that are breaking the pattern, but there are plenty who are still traumatizing their children.

OH. MY. GAWD. What she's been through in her life is unfathomable. I'm sure she's had weeks where she went through more than some people do in their entire lives. How do you help someone who's been damaged over and over and over again? I really hope she can find some way to work through the pain so she doesn't feel the need to mask it because it's only causing her more pain. She needs treatment and counseling while in treatment and for at least a year...probably much longer. I feel for her and hope something changes for the better.

Jessica, you are a sweet soul and deserve all the love you desire. I hope you escape this nightmare of addiction. East TN and Western NC is over run, like many places, with meth. Culture here is much different and mental illness, isolation and drugs run as deep as the cultural roots. Lack of adequate mental health in western NC is a big factor. Sad, I wish I had all the answers and solutions. This cycle goes on and on generation after generation and few decide to break it. Most are raised with a lack of encouragement and knowledge of a different life. I'm praying for you Jessica! Mark, I hope you can have an update on her. Much love.

The story of a female child being pressed into sex by a trusted adult male, and the lady of the house-- often the girl's mother -- seeing the raped child as a rival, tosses her out -- is the story behind the vast majority of girls who are runaways, homeless and who become homeless and deeply damaged women. The narcotics are also a common element. How people can think that they deserve to be parents is beyond me

She actually went on to have consensual sexual relationships with black men. This poor woman's WHITE parents pimped her out, her daddy had sex with her from ages 12-14....so much tragedy!
