I think you can tighten the hex screws just below the pliers gears to make it more stiff? Could be worth trying.

Good review 👍 I have the Powerpint and it is ideal for pocket carry given it's small size and tool set. My only gripes would be the small inbuilt Phillips and the poor scissors. I ordered the Powerlitre because of that locking mechanism - now I can leave a number two Phillips bit locked in to carry. I was thinking of making a hybrid of the two as the file and serrated blade are notable omissions. The bottle opener I can do without along with the box cutters. However.... I am very impressed with your magnet feature. Don't mind me, I'm just a multi tool addict! 😂

The only reason I bought the Litre is because of the corkscrew aid! Mine doesn’t have a saw blade and the locking latch was hard to get out and nearly impossible to engage. So I’m partly disappointed.

Understandable. If you are a wine drinker, that corkscrew can really come in handy!

initially, i got excited for the Powerlitre and didn't mind the extra bulk from the corkscrew. with a dremel, i can take off the little triangles on the handle and store stuff in the corkscrew. but the inclusion of the corkscrew is definitely not worth sacrificing the file (which I'd want to do the chisel mod on) or serrated blade (or switch it out for a saw). especially when it keeps the screwdrivers and scissors, which i find to be entirely useless and a waste of space. I'd much rather use my bit set and most every job you'd need scissors for, you can do with a knife. not to mention I've seen a lot of breakage complaints, where the metal is clearly just too soft or has quality control issues that warp or outright break the tools under minimal loads. so, imo, the Powerlitre is a neat tool with a great fix for the bit clamping problem... but the rest of it just doesn't stack up against the Powerpint. I'd much rather have the Powerpint and mod it, especially if i could find a way to add a t-shank holder and/or replaceable scalpel holder. and this is the first time I've seen the magnet mod, but I'd also be interested in that addition considering how it can hold the handles together for screwing. i was just going to slap a rubber band on it or something.

Hey, do you have link to the tiny wrench and the thing you're using to carry it all? I got the Power Liter based on your view and I like the bits but I don't have a convenient way to carry it all, so for now carrying the bits is out.

I don’t think you need a magnet to keep the Powerpint closed. There is a locking mechanism at the tip of the handle that latches the two handles together.

That’s on the Power Litre… there’s not a locking mechanism on the Power Pint.

Bad news. I bought the Power Litre, cleaned off the oil and oiled it with something better. I then locked it to keep in my pocket. When I took it out and tried to open the knife the little lock clip held it closed so tight that the knife was hard to take out and I didn't realize this was because it was locked closed so I thought my lubricant had made it more difficult to open, so I opened a few more tools with the Power Litre locked closed and the pressure caused the lock clip to crack in half and fly off the Power Litre. The back of the package gives their web address, the website says it's warrantied, but only if you buy it from an approved retailer and AliExpress is not one, so I messaged them and they confirmed they won't do warranty work on my knife or sell me the part. I cannot locate a replacement lock clip so I guess I'm just stuck with a Power Litre that doesn't lock. In summary, if the little tiny lock is tightly engaged and holding the sides of the Power Litre together, do not open any of the tools. The tool was almost the perfect EDC, based on my limited experience, since it was light and very handy. So much in a small package. Just don't do the thing I did, and if you want the warranty you get to pay double on their American website; might be better to buy two on AliExpress and consider the first one you break the warranty replacement. After all, their warranty is very limited, so breaking it once and using your second is probably just as good.

I mean, Aliexpress sells knockoff/counterfeit goods. There’s a reason they don’t warranty through that site and you likely had a fake.

I really don’t understand why multitool have 2+ blades (plain/serrated) in one tool, i better have file, sim-card extractor, box cutter, good awl(not sewing tool, just awl for holes). Mb for fullframe multitool good have saw holder like on a Surge, but still we see plain blade with expensive steel like s30v, magnacut ect. If I need good blade i will carry a knife. In place where knife is not allowed multitool with couples blade will not allow too. I wish we can see bladeless multitool more.

@@PostFamilyPilgrimage Agree! Good content but need a high-contrast background and you should be able to change the autofocus speed settings in a higher-end camera so it switches from foreground/background faster.
