Um Emma, I lived in New York for over twenty years and I know first hand that New York is exhausting. It's fast paced, it's unapologetic, it's got a touch of classy and yet trashy depending on the location you're in. It's like over all bitter sweet. There's something magical about each place you encounter too because I lived in the Bronx, Manhattan, and Brooklyn, each had its own style and charm. I moved to Puerto Rico, and yet I have to go visit New York at times just for the nostalgia of it all. The food is great, the people are nonchalant, and there's always something to do. If you ever get the chance, go and visit these spots: Coney Island, eat a knish with mustard, Nathan's hotdog, and Italian sandwich. Visit New York during December. Check out the Christmas Tree lighting. Visit during the summer for the Macy's 4th of July Spectacular. Visit Bryant Park, the carousel there is cute, and the picnic grassy spot. Visit the train stations, use a Metro Card. Visit Canal street, check out the pier, and also the Greenwich Village. New York has so much!!!!! 😁
