Is good to see a reaction from someone who is a musician and a singer. SoHyang has sang a C6 two times with her belting voice recently, one in her performance of Lean on me featuring Kirk Franklin, and another in the version of Lean on me featuring Michael Bolton. Funny how you say she reminds you of Regine. Although I don't think they personally know eachother. So Hyang and Regine's fanbase are at war on the basic 'Who is better' question. I would say you should do a video explaining who you think is better but the comments section would be a warzone and you would probably gain unwanted dislikes with haters :)

SoHyang fans are NOT at war with Regine fans. SoHyang fans don't go to Regine videos and attack her. But for some reason Regine fans find the need to go to SoHyang videos and criticize her.

Chizuka Alexandria so true. I end up with the conclusion that most of filipinos are very insecure about their singer when they thought that philippine is a land of singer which became their national pride. Maybe they feel like singing talent is another great way to promote their country to the international, so they fight really hard and even being completely delusional and rude just to get the recognition that their country has the best singers of all time when the world actually has too many legendary singer that need to be more appreciate.

Regine is definitely one of the best belters! Love her. SoHyang uses alot more of her headvoice than Regine. Have you heard SoHyang cover "I Have Nothing"? Bishhh...the modulations had me shook!

iKETOURAGE head voice isn't for everybody but Regines power and resonance is amazing and she's consistent! I love that woman.

I don't know why you consider Regine as one of the best belters when she strains and squeezes anything above D5 in her prime and above B4/C5 now. Her resonance was good until C#5, inconsistent on her D5s, and then straining (high larynx, throat tension, squeezing) on Eb5 and beyond and that was during her prime.

I recommend watching the full episode of Immortal Songs 2 where she sang this song. The episode contains English subtitles and you'll get to see the reactions of her fellow contestants. Without spoiling it, they are just as amazed and moved like the audience.

Can you also react ( and also do a review ) to : -"Fate" ( breath control and resonance goal ) -"Lean on me"( incredible Bb5 ) -"Arirang Alone"(Same, sustained for 10 sec !) -"Bridge over troubled water"( Incredible sustained G5) -"Oh holy night" (Best cover imo with a beautiful A5 belt) -"Where are you" ( incredible B5 with a lot of emotion, the link : vimeo.com/140289455 , on KZfaq they did an horrible cut, that's why) She did all the arrangements, she has a very good musicianship !
