Solar Attack - The largest coronal mass ejection (CME) ever detected by scientists breaks off from the sun and hurtles toward the Earth. Much better than anticipated. This movie made me think of Rev 8 "A third of the earth was burned up, a third of the trees were burned up, and all the green grass was burned up. a third of the living creatures in the sea died, and a third of the ships were destroyed. the name of the star is Wormwood."

If only it was that simple. I still believe that when earth is hit by a CME we must turn off everything including the power grid. To be completely offline is the only option.

I didn't know what to expect from this film, but it exceeded those expectations. The film held my interest from start to finish. The acting was believable, the plot made sense, and the pacing was perfect. I thoroughly enjoyed it.

Nice film, but i could not share the celebration in the end, with that short term solution. What about afterwards and all that radioactivity? And blowing the northpole to bits. I would say we would have a new disaster afterwards. 😮‍💨😖

Good movie but what I don't understand is:- 1) why don't the president of America inform the American sub? There's got to be another way to send them a message or communicate. Right?? 2) when Lucas was in the Russian sub and heard the American subs are near, he would've told them to hold their fire earlier. 🤔. If he told them then there's a chance they won't be wasting torpedoes 🤔

Must have been magic at 13:17. The density of a CME at the Earth must be a few atoms per cubic meter. Certainly not as high as pictured - which is about as high as the density of water - or a bomb blast.

I considered HAARP is attempting to correct Earth's attitude with high powered RF¿ into the ionosphere modulation to plasma waves was not specifically designed to monitor weather or communication but as the magnetosphere is not in orbit with atmospheric rotatation or Earth's rotation, they may have been attempting to correct Earth's listing or tilt. This obviously is futile. But unanimously you won't have the opportunity to become intimidated, the incident angle is increasing and you will have solar laser beams increasing.
