I think this kit has more potential than just lighting up a small cabin. It could also be used for outdoor lighting for a house at night. For instance, you could install two lights outside your house and keep them on throughout the night. This would provide some illumination for your house, front porch, backyard, or any other area you want to light up.

Your efforts are appreciated, kit is very user friendly but not practical. A setup with a bigger solar panel, a lead acid battery and a micro charger controller will be cheaper. These cables if damaged are irreplaceable.
