O Jones já estava sentindo os chutes do Marreta a muito tempo. Mesmo o Brasileiro machucado depois q chutou o Jones, precisava ir pro tudo ou nada, pq o Americano já tava com os músculos das pernas travado, o Marreta respeitou de mais., era tudo ou nada. Agora vive tão frustrado q ñ ganhar uma luta. pra chegar a disputar o cinturão é quase INPISIVEL. 😢

He landed cleaner punches, but jones dominated the mid range this fight by keeping santos against the fence, and by using his kicks. Jones landed many body, leg, oblique kicks, and landed a number of side kicks and spinning back kicks. Jones fight iq is amazing, his experience also won him this fight. Constantly feinting at him with the low kicks, feinting take downs, keeping Thiago off balance that’s why santos wasn’t pulling the trigger. But santos patience and movement made it harder for jones to dominate how he usually does.

This was a respectful fight. I think once that knee blew out, Jon knew he had won…hence no major take down attempts, strong blocks, direct solid strikes and confident posture. But, respect for Marreta continuing to fight as hard as he did.

You can say alot about jones but in this fight you gotta respect that he could definitely targeted that knee he had many opportunities too but he did just enough to keep the fight standing and not target that leg cause there was multiple chances were santos was stumbling and jones couldve easily pounced on him

This is the sociopath who targets the eyes, throws knee-damaging oblique kicks, tried to break Texeira's arm while standing (the sort of 'all of a sudden' submission that doesnt give you time to tap before getting injured), and so on. If it meant winning, Jones would have held Thiago's daughter hostage in there, I doubt he was being compassionate

Jon jones fez uma luta completamente técnica. O necessário pra vencer, pois ele sabe que pra tirar o cinturão de um campeão por pontos é muito mais difícil. Marreta tentando o tudo ou nada. Sem comparação, Jon Jones é uma lenda, fez o NECESSÁRIO pra ganhar, sem grande apresentação brutal como fazia antigamente.

What the fuck are you talking about? Do you know a little about how fight is scored by judges? It's about rounds and action, please look for the stats and significant strikes... You get split decision if you don't do enough to win... Jones was on the edge of defeat here and in one or two other fights if you watched him... He will get smashed by Gane mark my words!!!

@@D12Min "Jones Dominated.." Get real. The fight was incredibly close and Jones was getting his ass handed to him. It was massive luck for him that Santos blew both his knees out. Even then, Santos was still landing and still putting up a fight. And injuries like that don't typically happen suddenly. That's accumulated damage likely compiling from training.
