It depends on the subject. American audiences are more used to miles, but things mentioned from a scientific perspective or when characters are talking to characters from other countries make more sense in metric units (even in the US, the metric system is the main system of units in use by scientists since it makes calculations easier.)

8:28. So, I get that Dark Side Of The Moon never faces The Earth, but how can Earth not hear him talking? Earth hears Luna talking all of the time, yet Earth can't hear D.S.O.T.M. yelling from the other side of him? & the excuse I saw in a comment last week that only Luna can hear D.S.O.T.M. doesn't work when he was heard by Titan, Phobos, & Deimos back in The Titan Arc.

1 kilometer is 0.62 miles, & 1 mile is 1.61 kilometers. So, if you're driving 100 kilometers per hour that's the same as driving 62 miles per hour, & if you're driving 100 miles per hour that's the same as driving 161 kilometers per hour.

Remember, when the earth used all of his space trash to construct rings? And I’m pretty sure we can all way down the fact that if we’re watching solar balls, then we’re probably also subscribed to Kurzgesagt. And remember how they made a video about this very topic, how at some point the moon doesn’t crash into the Earth, but breaks apart into a million pieces, forming rings. Like I don’t know about you, but that’s some major foreshadowing there. Speaking of foreshadowing, one time, the dark side of the moon said to Luna “do you want to crash into the Earth?” I mean seriously this KZfaq channel is the absolute best!

On no, A PART 3?! this is bad, ASTRODUDE is still on the moon and the dark side can’t wake Luna up! Oh and at 7:27 they are wrong, no matter where you are, hiding in an underground bunker system, on the opposite side of the collision site, or flying in an airplane, you are still, under any circumstances, not safe from the moon colliding with the earth, and now that ASTRODUDE’s family has been fully separated, with Astrowife on a boat and astroson in a helicopter being taken care of by soldiers, making their chances of surviving super slim, unless there is something called plot armour, some magical force protecting popular/ main/ major characters of the story, so we need those escape rockets back when the earth is heading to the sun, and we will use said rockets for all humans, animals, plants, fungi, prokaryotes and food to escape, and save ASTRODUDE and his damaged rocket, and watch in horror as the sleeping Luna crashes into the earth, never to wake up again, and the dark side of the moon accepting his fate, and the earth getting its crust destroyed and becomes lava, and then we take all possible resources in the solar system, and use energy more than enough to either escape the solar system looking for nearby solar systems or terraform everything we can, and make a new moon, literally, so yeah.
