That is a brilliant car , I had many cavaliers gls, Sr, Sri . Theses cars light but strong solid , a lovely gearbox with great sound and character when you shift. If I remember correctly this one properly got twinchoke carb . They pull away great the gear ratios are perfect , belive it or not they handle brilliantly Especially Sri s. The seats are mega comfortable and they are great for a long journey . great car . Wish I had one now

Crikey he looking inside , this so nostalgic I nearly want to cry. I had my gls when I was 17 back in 1996 , it was the car me and all my friends used to go smoking everywhere, pub everywhere the thing took a right beating 💓 that ashtray, beautiful the clock . All of it . This one on vid is basic one but still lovely and that Philips radio . You always needed to put I the code .( make sure got it written down if take battery off lolol) o e of best cars ever made would have that any day over a Bran d new vauxhall . Some of the vauxhalls of the eightys were great cars with character performance reliability. I don't feel they are the same nowadays. The next shape on looked nice and the aerodynamics improved greatly . But just wasn't the same . Then I the early 2002's most of them were cheaper feeling no character and didn't drive as nice . I fact they were just boring. I don't know if they have gone back to being good nowadays. I can't afford a new one lolol , back in the day I could get an absolute minter for £1500 a nicely run in about 8 year old car lol . Great days .

The most practical Vauxhall Cavalier ever. It was a bit of a mishmash, Australian body panels from a Holden, bolted to the GM J-platform and given a Vauxhall Cavalier front end, so not entirely a true Vauxhall from Germany. Was a bit of a dud in the UK and it didn't sell well.
