I just bought two with the meters, what do they call them, VU meters? One Sanyo jam box and one Hitachi boombox.. Anyway the tape decks don't work and I was thinking maybe I would take out the tape mechanics and replace it with some kind of mp3 music player trying to match the size recessed into the tape deck door. Glue it in with silicone and plug into the line in or phono RCAs. Also I want to upgrade the Dcell batteries to some kind of power tool battery so I can recharge. Matching the volts might be tricky

I could but I have a huge backlog of other models to work on and working 13 hours a day 5 days dont leave much time for me and my own things to work on & I rarely log in to here much LOL Please Subscribe Top to bottom I service, repair & Sell cassette boombox, from my own stock of about 300 model's.
