Two years ago I found an old vase in a thrift shop for $8 and I had no idea what it was or how much it was worth at the time so I didn’t buy it 😫 Come to find out the reason why I couldn’t find anything out about it at the time was because it was an extremely rare Ming Dynasty vase worth tens of thousands of dollars 😭 Like $30k-$40k and up!

Good job knowing grab the hood ornament the best are so rare to find these now toured all lot of automotive flea markets when building our hot rod should have bought hood ornaments to sell later ! But concentrated on the studebaker build that was fun ! Still driving the truck 20 years later just a litte harder since husband passed away Feb 2020 but reminds me of what fun we had and still share the truck with friends going to car shows and so many asked me who drove it to the show and I did of course yes a women can drive a truck with 502 chev engine in it ! 😀😍

This sold video, was a treat for me. It was better than me going out thrifting today, and buying junk in comparison to what you are buying. You know exactly what catches your eye. Here you would be very disappointed in the junk Goodwill has for sale. NC isn’t a goldmine of treasures, that’s for sure.

I had that beige owl with the yellow eyes! I got it back in 1979 wish I still had mine (I think around the 5:30 part of the video)! Was great seeing it again my grandmother got it for me!

Holy crapollie! That hood ornament sold for $695? Do people not do their homework before they donate to Goodwill. I know I did with the items the auction house didn't want when I was executing my late Aunt Jean's will. I sold several items on market place because I did my research. I made sure I did my due diligence as the personal rep. Even got a refund from the company who did her 2018 taxes for her. They missed her Air Force pension and I got a notice from the IRS with penalties. She was in the early stages of vascular dementia so I am guessing that's why she missed it as well.
