I'd still take any GT350 before the MACH1. It's a cool car though. And that wing is not a GT500 wing.....It's a GT350 wing they put on a GT500.

I have a 2021 Mach 1 Mustang with the same color as your friend. Can you tell me where he purchase the roll bar? I have the rear seat delete from the factory and plan to buy roll bar this year. I could not tell if his is orange or red. Thanks for your feedback.

I'm not crazy about the two piece look of the front splitter, but if the bottom part can be replaced separately, then it's probably better for street use.

You should definitely get one, looks like a great DD with the 10 speed tranny & those looks! The dark horse is way too expensive for what you get for the money,, it’s a lot of smoke & mirrors.

The 5.0 is more reliable than the Voo Doo 5.2. I’ve been in the market for a 350 but the more I see the more I’m leaning towards the Mach 1. I’ll be first to say, nothing sounds like it….but it’s a very temperamental engine. And if it goes you’re looking at 25-30k. And I see so many carfax that have the engine replaced on 350’s. The coyote is a solid platform, it’s got magna ride, all the engine, diff coolers, add a tune and some mods, beef up suspension and you got a great car. Just my opinion of course

Get a 10R80 Mach 1, Whipple it (with some great cooling and other supporting mods) and get the suspension perfect with some Steeda and/or BMR stuff and enjoy it. My prediction, if you set it up right it will be significantly quicker than the GT500 you had.

Great choice, and if you Super Charge it would be better than the GT500 it is Lighter in weight.. I have an Up-tuned, un-Badged Mach1 Handling Pack, with the MagneRide Suspension< Intercooled, Limited Slip Rear Differential ( Same as the Differential GT500).. it's a 2022 Roush Mustang with the No Lift on Accelerator Pedal 3rd Pedal Rev-Match 6 Speed Manual Transmission. 👨🏻👍🏻🌲🌲🏎🏎🏁🏁🚩🚩 Great for the Canyon Roads.

All of them don’t have a tick… Also, the tick has proven to be a non-issue. Put some Ceretec in it and it’s good to go… One of the best motors ever made

Mach 1 is a downgrade compared to a GT350R. Not sure how Austin can honestly compare the two.

@Nick it’s not a bad car I actually loved driving the manual with rev matching. It’s not the same feeling as the 350/350r though. Rev matching or the auto will definitely allow the car to perform pretty good out of the box when compared to the 350 which is manual only with no rev matching.

@Nick Different power band and your right it probably is faster in a straight line but track wise I don't think so. Weight does matter. A GT350R will always be worth more. I'm sure the coyote motor and 10 speed is a good combination for drivability. Depending on the person it could be a upgrade. For me I wouldn't be trading my GT350R on a Mach 1.

Here I am 1 month later and I understand why. The motor from the 350 is $40k from Ford. It’s also only a matter of time before it goes… this motor is a lot cheaper 😂

Comparing a Mach 1 to a GT350R! Not even close. Carbon fiber rims, carbon fiber wing, awesome brakes, front splitter is not two splitters connected together. The Mach 1 is a nice car. Saying the suspension is so much better. Really doubt thats even true. A stock GT350 would be a closer comparison.

@Nick does the car drive itself? Drivers generally make those differences not the cars themselves. The only way you could get an accurate representation of what performs better is if they both had a manual transmission without rev matching or with the same rev matching and the same driver. On a shorter track the mach 1 will do better. On a longer drive the gt350 with that high revving motor will do better.

@@camonly849 I mean I test drove 2 Mach 1’s, one with the auto and one with the tremec. They ride vastly better than a base GT. The suspension is way better and it feels way more planted. It feels almost perfect. But yeah the price puts it in a league with other faster cars.

Lots of people having engines blow and track use is one of the criteria they use to deny coverage despite them actually giving a free track day to owners when they purchase the car. Suck it up, you set the rev limiter at 7,500 rpm and deny someone because they regularly reach that number on a track, then you should have set the limiter lower, just saying.

Nah. Locked ECU 🤢. And those tacked on screens look cheap, and they appear to be so slow to respond too. Ford probably used minimum RAM or processor to save money.
