The luxury watch market is RED HOT and we keep selling some crazy, high-end pieces because of it! The perfect example is the Richard Mille 11-03 that Willy sells on this CRM Life episode to one of his watch collecting clients. Yes, this is the same piece that so many people had been making fun of on our Instagram posts during the last few weeks....And that brings me to my next point...
Our main Instagram page is still not up yet. But no worries, it seems that the temporary loss of 411K followers hasn't really impacted our sales in the slightest bit. We've been using our secondary @crmpawn IG in the meantime to upload Reels and stories with special deals while we attempt to recover our primary brand page.
It's crazy how the watch market continues to perform strongly despite weakness in both equity and crypto markets. There's no denial that luxury watches have become a trusted, alternative asset class in the eyes of many investors. Whoever says otherwise is probably trying to sell you something.
The fan support we're receiving each week, both in our Downtown Miami jewelry store and via phone/emails, continues to rise as well and for that, we're extremely grateful. Thank you so much everyone.

Me encanta este canal! I can't get enough of the customers buying watches from CMR. I do want to ask Carlos because of his longevity in the watch industry a serious question about today's market prices. Prices have escalated rapidly since just this January. Based on your experience, are these new high prices resetting the market for Rolex, AP, and Patek for the next 10 years (or longer), or have you seen market prices reset in a major way in prior boom years? No asset can continue to go up forever. We know historically gold, real estate, the stock market do go lower. In other words, could I buy a piece from CMR now and expect it to retain its value over a 10 year period? I would hate myself for buying a piece and being the last guy to pay these higher prices. I figure Carlos has the gray hair to answer my question. Thanks in advance.

Thank you Danny for your ongoing support. You bring up a good point. We're living in scary times. Big governments, especially the US, has never printed so much money so fast before, so even though people say that this has happened before, it really hasn't. We're swimming through uncharted waters as a species and all of this excess will have consequences. Heck, we've been seeing these consequences amplified throughout the last two years, when prices of watches and other commodities have sky-rocketed. The interesting thing is that even though as equity and crypto markets have corrected, the prices of watches in the most popular brands have continued increasing. A lot of people ignorantly blame grey market dealers and crypto, but I think that we're seeing a greater phenomenon at work. Even Chinese real estate investors have started gravitating towards watches as their housing market gets hits. This means that more and more people are seeing watches as an alternative asset class, a collectible that has value beyond its functionality or raw material cost. This is what has likely led to that "resetting" that you're referring to, which I think is a good way to describe it. This doesn't mean that prices won't correct. They will, especially as stock markets collapse and the liquidity crisis that ensues forces people (like in any abysmal market drop) to sell anything they can to raise cash. Nevertheless, I don't think that we'll see the return to "retail" prices as a result of that temporary price correction, despite the "bloody murder" chants of the disgruntled consumers in the sidelines who have missed the boat.

Yes, the customer store interaction makes for much more entertaining content, but a lot of customers don't want to be recorded. Sometimes we get more phone calls than others. It changes all the time because we're not staging stuff. 🤷

For instance, I can find a famous KZfaq video with a famous person and place my ad on that video to gain more audience.......BRO.....Time Piece Trading placed that shit on your KZfaq video. It's called competitor targeting. HEADS UP. This tactic is used to scale your own business by attracting those viewers.

If this would be a regular part of an economic cycle, I would agree with you. What a lot of people are failing to realize is that what's happening now with the fiat monetary supply worldwide and the magnitude at which it is happening is a one-off occurrence. The whole game changes at that point. Traditional rules are not very effective during times like these.

@@CalvinCooke18 they've said in previous videos why they don't sell Breitling, Omega ect. They don't demand the same collectability, prices or hold value how Rolex, AP, Patek or Richard Mille do. They're still nice watches just not in same lane as Rolex ect.

Luxury Goods, Watches most of all, Hold value & RISE in value better than just about any other physical asset out there. You can have whatever opinion you like, but history proves that opinion incorrect.
