Soldano + Earforce = a metal guitarist's wet dream

Here's a wee clip to show you how awesome the combination of the Earforce Two and the Soldano sounds (one amp left, one right, one track each).
Guitar: LTD with EMG81, Cab: Mesa Stiletto 4x12 mic'd with a single sm57.
Unfortunaletely the settings displayed in the pics aren't the settings I used, but I didn't have a camera here, so I had to use those old pics.
anyways, the settings were:
Earforce o'clock):
Gain: 14:30
Bass: 12:30
Mid: 11:30
Treble: 12:30
Pres: 8:30
Vol: 1:30
Master: 10:30
Soldano (numeric settings as displayed on the Soldano's scale (remember, it goes to 11):
Preamp: 7.5
Bass: 7.5
Mid: 3.2
Treble: 7.4
Pres: 4.6
Master: 5
Damn, I'm loving the combination of these amps...cutting and smooth at the same time.

Ok, thanks a lot! Your videos have made me consider buying the EF and I most likely will, because I currently have a blackstar ht20 with a matching cab, the thing's great for cleans (using a sm 57), but the distortion circuit just doesn't cut it for me. I'd be really interested in what kind of tones you'd be able to get out of a blackstar amp. Anyway, thanks again!

yeah, and it's all hand built from only the best materials, custom wounds transformers etc. If you order it with the "Lasse Lammert" Tubes they'll know. I', using 6L6 for the 100W version and KT88 for the 50W. but the preamp section is equipped with different types of tubes, I've tried all possible combinations and found that one to be the best. don't know what combination it is right now, but they'll know

Thanks for such a quick reply! Do you mind telling what your "signature" tube configuration is, on the website it says that the amp comes with 2 x 6L6 stock, but there is an option for having 4 tubes at the power section, two of a different kind. I'm fucking psyched, it's really an awesome sounding amp for a reasonable price.

real drums....but I did sample that kit, and it can actually be bought here: lsddrums.bigcartel d o t c o m this recording is from the aleatorm back through time session...the entire kit is in my pack ;)

it's just a "test song" fucking rips,,, you cant get better than that for modern metal tone,, the proof is in how it lets you express all your song writing ideas,, when it does that,, thats the amp set up for you.
