Just got mine. It's not hard to sit her in there. Just did while sitting in the passenger seat with my wife driving through Seoul..... look at the back knees of the mech, there are areas where you can see the pilots feet as you try shoving her in. I used a tooth pick I had on me to help guide her feet properly in (from the back of the mechs knees). Took about 1 minute, as soon as I had it out of the box. Bend the mechs legs (at the knees) slightly forward, then you can see what is stopping the pilots feet. Her legs have to be spread further apart then in this video. The figure is awesome and a first for its kind.

Great tip, unfortunately there are quite a few people who failed to put her in the mech, i was just one of the first public ones.

@AwesomeActionToys Have not had a chance to mod it yet, but I did get a regular joy toy mechanic chick in their. I did have to swap out her feet with the pilots feet. The mechanic joytoy chick is currently wearing shorts and the slightly ripped undershirt. Fits well in there. Looks like half those drawing of scantily dressed hot chicks in a mech suit.

All that work to make it open and fit the (albeit dainty...) figure, and you still had to do what Earnestcorecraft did with their official Ma.K suit, and use half a body. What a shame. I wish they had put 20% more effort into the mech, and ditched the glorified chap mei side-soldiers to bring the price down. If so, 100% would buy, even with some of the issues. Thank you as always fornyour thorough, honest review. A gentleman and a (1:18) scholar! 🍻 Still love the look and execution of the suit, far superior to the figures and tempting if i could find it cheaper.... 🤞🏻

Modding mine to carry full 1/18 scale figures. Yes, I can do this. I modded the Hexa-gear Thor into a power-suit for 1/18 scale figures.

@AwesomeActionToys yes. Exocymech. It's linked in the about me section of my youtube. I'll take a photo of my custom thor when I get home. It's the size of the battle for the stars heavy armored troops with a full 1/18 scale pilot. I would send the link, but youtube doesn't like when you send links and ends up blocking the comment. Anyways, waiting on my Soldier Story mech. I promise you I can mod this too to fit full 1/18th. I will put up step-by-step instructions once I figure it out. *Note: If I ever make a toy company it will be called Exo-Cy-Mech Toys. Will be similar to Neca as it will have multiple series; however solely dedicated to Exosuits / Cyborgs / Mecha that toy companies refuse to make (Like Star Craft and Commamd and Conquer).

@AwesomeActionToys Hey, I just posted my photos of modding the 1/24 scale Thor mech (hexagear) into a 1/18 power suit. It's close to 0100AM in Korea, so I rushed these photos just to show you. Please check them out. Might be a mech you want to get. If you would like me to mod one for you, I can (just pay the cost of the Thor mech itself). Or send one to me and I'll mod it. But you should be able to do it yourself.

This exemplifies why JoyToy was smart enough not to put removable pilots in their Sorrow Expeditionary Forces mech suits. What a clusterfuck. $170 at ShowZ. $200 at BBTS. Glad I passed.

About the battery installation at top cockpit cover, is not that kind of easy. Cover difficult to open. I believe that's why you have remove the cover. Am I correct? I just got my figure this afternoon, can't open the cockpit. After watching you show, I finally got it open. Lesson learned from you, I am not putting the cover back into the cockpit. I keep it somewhere. Thanks very much for your information. Lucky I have watched your video. Else, I might damage my figure.

For clarification Soldier Story is a maker that primarily produces 1:6 military figures. I have 60-70 of their 1:6 line and Soldier Story, along with Damtoys, are the best in the business at that. As far as I'm aware this is their first foray into a smaller scale. 🤘

This is too expensive for these old outdated articulation figures plus a mech that is too small for its pilot…to me this is a half finished product…I am so glad I didn’t preorder this and I am saving my money for the earnest core craft Kuster….
